The beer pours a clear golden base, medium-large white head, very good retention that lasts for 45 minutes and specks of lacing throughout. The smell is weak, a brush of hops.
The taste isn't much, like a souped up Macro, tastes similar to a Warsteiner, decent aftertaste. The beer is real smooth on the palette and no signs of harshness ever. This beer just doesn't have enough depth to have it in a session, the smoothness of the beer is what would reel me in.
Final Thought: This is real disappointing coming from Kaltenburg Brewery. It is a smoother version of Warsteiner.
