473ml can - nice monolithic hop imagery on the otherwise simple label.
This beer pours a slightly hazy, medium golden amber colour, with two fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly off-white head, which leaves a bit of random inkblot pattern lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.
It smells of bitter pine resin, muddled domestic citrus rind, more pineapple, mango, and guava exotic fruitiness, grainy pale malt, a bit of further caramel sweetness, and a rather strong floral and weedy green hop thing. The taste is bready and doughy caramel malt, sharp blood orange and Texas red grapefruit citrus flesh, mixed tropical fruit notes, a touch of flinty chalkiness, and more piney, leafy, and certainly still floral verdant hoppiness.
The bubbles are fairly capable in their mostly supportive frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and sort of smooth, as the pithiness of the citrus character takes a minor (but still annoying) tithe here. It finishes off-dry, the big and worldly fruit esters still running the asylum.
Overall, this is a generally agreeable version of the style, though the attempt at blending domestic and foreign policy (um, I mean hop essences) rides a bumpy road, it would seem. In the end, serviceable, in the sense that you will very much get your hop cravings, er, fixed.

Poured from 473ml can into my IPA glass,6.5ABV, 95 IBU, Amarillo and El Dorado Hops.
A: pours a hazy Yellow Amber with a nice white head and lacing that clings.
S: Minor floral hoppy nose no much for the hops they used
T: A very mild IPA the hops are there but no way its 100IBU some bitterness not a lot of flavor.
F: Good carbonation not to malty or to sweet.
O: Well a fair IPA but so many better ones in B.C. than this one, worth a try.
