355ml can poured into a 16oz pint glass.

A - Pours with a small, fizzy, bone-white head with no retention whatsoever beyond 60 seconds. The body boasts a clean golden-yellow color with great clarity. I think I know where this is going...

S - ...Yup, it's just a lager in disguise. Barley malt dominates the nose, and I detect zero wheat malt in here. Skunk is the next most prominent aroma here. Maybe some faint grassy hops, or at least I'd like to believe I can smell some. Basically an average sweet cereal grain aroma on this one.

T - Opens up surprisingly sweet, with the faintest trace of fruitiness detectable. Finishes clean and simple. Barley malt. That's it. I refuse to acknowledge the possibility that Big Rock even used any wheat malt in the mash at all.

M - Light, fairly watery, with carbonation bordering on fizzy. Very much-so a macro-lager feel.

D - Alright, now that I've spent this entire review sounding snobby and whiny, I'll admit this is a thoroughly drinkable brew and is completely unoffensive. There are no off flavors present, but there's so little flavor here it would be hard to get it wrong. This is just another example of an pseudo-micro brewery product that would lend itself a hand in the rating department if it was marketed under the proper style; that is, a lager. It's because of beers like this that people are getting the wrong idea about craft beer. Oh, and insert generic and obligatory 'it's a step above Bud but nothing special' comment here. Thanks, but I'll pass next time.

355ml can on a westjet flight

Appearance - Clear yellow/gold colour with an average size fizzy white coloured head. There is a low amount of carbonation and there is some faint lacing. The head lasted for onlt a few minutes.

Smell - Breads/grains, apples, light spices, banana

Taste & Mouth - The beer has an above average amount carbonation and I can taste breads/grains, light bananas, faint clove and some apples. It finishes with a slight sweet lightly spiced aftertaste.

Overall - Definitely nothing to go out of your way for, but when your other options are coors light or molson canadian, this is a decent option.

Served in a pint glass.

A - Light to medium yellow, slightly murky. A small amount of white head with some light lacing.

S - An extremely weak nose. There are hints of grainy/bready malts and a touch of citrus.

T - As the nose suggested, the palate is somewhat light. Hints of bready malts and a touhc of citrus. There is a very light bitterness to compliment the very slight sweet maltiness.

M - Light body, moderate carbonatoin.

O - A farily uninspiring example of the style. Only worth ordering if my other options are Labatt or Molson.
