Poured a very slightly hazy golden straw color with a thick white head. The foam receded slowly leaving cool tracks. The aroma was lemony and floral, along with crackery malt. The hops hit my palate first with a crisp lemony zest bitterness. Balanced by cracker and white bread. Super crisp and clean finish.

Slight hop haze, golden straw color, white head. Aromas are grassy hops, lemongrass, and an ever so slight citrus aroma.

Taste is split equally between the grassy notes and the lemongrass. This is the poster child for “lawnmower beer,” IMHO.

A - Pale gold body, clear, with a thin head of white, and extensive bubbly lacing.

S - Strong hit of pine, lemony citrus, spicy and sharp, a certain minerality as well.

T - Following the nose, the front is full of pine and lemon, a herbal minty middle, and a close that hints crackery malts and a strong bitter snap.

M - Prickly dry, with a light feel, and a mild resin build.

O - Powerful hops, mild malts, and a punchy close. Pretty tasty, though I think the bitterness argues against more than one at a time. Still, solid.

12oz can, served in a willi becher glass. Pours a slightly cloudy but mostly clear golden body, slight copper hue, one finger thick and frothy white head, good retention, a fair bit of lacing. Smell is biscuit, a bit of toasted bread, light floral and citrus hop aromatics, a touch of mineral. Flavour is a bit more astringent, more of a earthy, burnt straw like astringency, light bread and floral notes, a bit of grapefruit and lemon bitterness lingering in the background but it is mostly an earthy toasted bread bitterness. Mouthfeel is lighter medium bodied, again a fair bit astringent on the backend. Not the most crushable of lagers, and the hops don't completely come together here as well as I'd like.
