Poured from 12oz can into glass. Stamped canning date appears to be 09-13-17. Mostly clear yellow orange body.
Vigorous pour brought forth a three finger slightly off white head that settles to thin cap. Some scattered lacing.
Bright tropical fruit, tangerine like, aroma.
Taste brings out the dank, resin like hops. Sweet tropical fruit, tangerine and mango. Not much bitterness at all.
Medium mouth feel, a little sticky.
Has some of the taste aspects of a NEIPA, quite tasty. If given a choice between this and Lazurite, I will pick the Foggy Geezer. This is an DIPA for those that don't want extreme bitterness, a higher ABV, and a sweeter taste profile.

Pours a nice bright orange yellow with a good amount of approachable haze.

Bright and sunny tropical fruit notes of mango, pineapple, and citrusy fruit notes to note.

Bright fruity tropical and citrus flavor.

Light-bodied, medium carbonation, juicy.

Overall, a well done brew and one I'll be trying again!

look at that bell curve. this is a 4. straight up, pretty good dipa that's wowed no one but does the trick.

hazy . . . shit in the glass . . . they're just words, right? pale yellow, white head, and some stuff suspended in the beer. i don't get why this is a selling point but since it's what they were going for, i'll say it's ok.

fruity up front. bitter at the back. neither really win. goes down real smooth. can't tell this is 8% at all. well carbonated and medium body means it's easy to put down.

i still don't like fruity or dank when it comes to my beer, but this one tasted good. balanced.

Pours a mostly clear golden yellow color. Smell is tropical and fruity. Tatse has citrus and tropical flavors with a slight pine hop finish. A dry mouth feel with minimal bitterness. Good stuff would buy this again if fresh.

Love this beer. Pours nearly clear, great nose. Incredibly well balanced, the ABV is not obvious. Try it - it's an instant classic in my opinion.

Thanks to FlintB for this one. Record in NBS BIF #6
Pours a golden straw hue with slight haze. Frothy white head, two just shy of 2 fingers quickly retreats. Almost no lacing.
Smell begins with a sharp citrus note akin to lemongrass. Then goes in a slightly earthy dank direction. But remains bright.
Flavor is carried by a creamy mouthfeel. Citrus notes are more subdued than in the aroma. Slight readiness comes through with a gentle drying bitterness.
Mouthfeel is NEIPA .
Overall, I like this one. maybe if the flavor followed the nose closer I'd like it even better, but a fine beer nonetheless.

From a 12oz can:

Appearance: Slightly hazy gold, good head.

Smell: Strong danky smell, a little fruity after a while.

Taste: Citrus bitterness up front, then a tropical fruit flavor underneath it all. Prickly feel.

Overall: Saw some of this beer so had to pick up some Haug-brewed stuff. Nice, solid IPA, good fruitiness and bitterness, very well made stuff and tasty.

Not much into DIPAs these days but this one is not brutally bitter. Has a slight haze and looks attractive. Citrus fruit and earthy dankness fills the nose. Flavor is fruity with strong citrus notes. Bitterness is moderate but quite reasonable for a DIPA. No sign of alcohol and is dangerous drinkable. Does not have the soft mouthfeel of NE IPAs but is nicely carbonated for this type of beer. Not fizzy or lifeless, just right.

Can poured into a 10oz snifter.

Hazy and yellow. Slight hint of orange/amber, but mostly yellow straw. Head is foamy and just off-white. Settles into thin cap.

Aroma is citrus, fresh sweet fruit followed by earthy grass and a hint of cracker/biscuit malt.

Flavor is filled with fruit, citrus, mango, fresh and sweet balanced by a nice crisp biscuit malt background and some earthy resinous hops. An additional layer of grapefruit rind bitterness keeps everything together nicely.

Moderate carbonation and a medium body.

Nice brew, well done, great balance of flavors. Malt and hops work together as opposed to overpowering each other.

Canned 09-14-17

No haze at all on this one, so not as advertised. Smooth, soft, and delicious nonetheless. Hops aren't overbrearing here. Just a nice and easy brew.
