Ratings for this are all over the place. Here is mine-

Look-Deep copper almost bronze color 4.5

Smell- Decent but nothing extraordinary 4

Taste- Very nice, quite enjoyable 4.25

Feel- To me this was the low point, a bit heavy on the carbonation for the style imo 4

Overall-I like it and would buy again 4.25

I like barleywines and while there may be better I enjoyed this one.

Great tasting Barleywine Ale. Love the fruity notes at the beginning and dry rye-like taste at the end of each drink.

Interesting! It's been a few years since I've had a barleywine. This was a nice pour, small head that faded quickly, and a burst of sparkling carbonation across my tongue when I took that first sip. Nicely sweet malt, good aftertaste. I didn't feel like I was drinking something with such high ABV, but I do feel it now that I've finished the glass. I'm sure I'll buy it again.

This is why I got an account. Beer snobs with no actual opinion or true taste opining on something they could never appreciate. This is not a "drink a six pack" kind of a beer, it's a 1-2 every other week beer. Suck it up sissies, it's a great barleywine ale.

This beer pours a deep amber with a decent head. The aroma reminds me strongly of fruit roll ups first - then fig, date, raisin, brown bread, banana, and cinnamon. The flavor is rich and fruity as well, with lots of emphasis on prunes, raisins, figs, and dates, with banana, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, green bell pepper, and sweet peat. The mouthfeel is simple an full, with foamy carbonation. Overall this is a very nice barleywine, not too sweet, and definitely English style, as it lacks overt hopiness, and features a strong fruit presence.

Tastes like wort that didn't fully convert to barleywine. Like the yeast died from abv before fully converting the sugars.
