Thanks to Mark for gifting me with bottles of this, enjoyed chilled in a taster glass.

the color is a lightly clouded golden with thin white head with fine bead. The smell has a light citrus and pepper aroma with yeast ester. There is a nice feel with generally spicy and dry quality with light malt sweetness.

The taste has a mild tangy saison yeast flavor with the spices over a cracker like lightly toasted grain element with dry finish. Overall this was very tasty considering it has about 3 years of age on it.

not bad.....cant believe I am drinking a beer that was made 5-25-12! lol its 5-2-15! they say on the bottle its good till 5-25-17!!!
its not bad...its a wheat beer that almost has an apple juice and spice to it. its kinda juicy like nineteen..but nineteen is way over the top juice tasting. this is like a cross between beer and cider? 10.5%!! wish I read that before popping open my 3rd beer! lol
I had to dump out nineteen but I think I can handle this one....its not bad not great. I will give it a touch over ok.
It is kinda like their farmhouse ale......less dank.

This beer has a dark golden color body with no head or lace to it. The smell has a Belgian yeasty and a hint of corander to it. The tasty up front is spicy of peppercorns and some banana and other spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and overall another quality beer from weyerbacher.

Pours out orange in color with a nice one-finger head with little retention but some nice lacing.

Smell is a little citrusy and funky maybe with a little sweet malt backbone to help it out.

Taste has a sweet malt backbone with a tiny bit of funk with a little more funk down the throat that is more lasting. There is a little sweet bitterness when you first take it in and that lasts a tiny bit in the throat as well.

Mouthfeel is fairly thin but when you swash it around the throat it is a little thicker due to the carbonation.

Overall this is a really nice tasting beer. it's not as funky as I would expect but there is definitely some funk there. This beer shines as it is kind of unique in that it is sort of sweet for the style. Maybe that is not true to style as most would agree but it tastes nice for sure. I would recommend this beer but not for the style. It is just a good beer. Really not true to style but I am giving it some leeway as it is a great drinker.
