Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 5.90%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
Last Chance IPA, 5.9% ABV, is a full-flavored hop assault delightfully lacking in balance. We’ve added a combination of Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe® and Columbus hops to produce pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus.

Weyerbacher Brewing Company donates a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every drop of Last Chance IPA to small, local animal rescue organizations. These shelters offer dogs, cats and other pets their last chance to find a new home.
Have a glass and make a difference! Cheers!

12 ounce bottle -> Westbrook Brewing snifter

A- pours up medium gold with an off-white one and a half finger head, fairly good retention and good lacing.

S - powerful citrus smell with some bready notes

T - kind of a dry maltiness with a bitter citrus finish

M - spicy carbonation, lingering aftertaste

O - I actually loved this. Lots of previous reviews haven't been as favorable, but I guess my palate is just different.

A - Pours a cloudy orange with a two-finger foamy white head. Light spotty lacing.

S - Aroma is a nice mix of citrus and floral hops.

T - The flavor is very hop forward with a light malt sweetness. The finish is resinous with a lingering bitterness.

M - Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Soft mouthfeel.

O - Decent IPA. This could use some more malts to balance out the bitterness.

Undated bottle into pint glass. Pours a transparent gold with a thin off-white head. Initial impression is pine resin, citrus, and barley. There is a hint of bready malt, which nicely balances the hops. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Refreshing but not outstanding.
