8/22...pours pale gold light foam. Corn, hay, straw nose, light bitter. More lager than helles. Very small bite. Good starter beer for a meal here. Simple.

Served in a mug at the brewpub.
The final beer of our St. Paddy's Day outing. It pours a clear pale golden straw topped by a finger of white foam. The nose comprises hard water, very light lemon zest, wheat, and light corn. The taste holds notes of wheat, coriander, and a kinda light kick of orange peel. The flavors act as a sort of pared-down version of the smells, and with this simplicity comes strength. The body is a hefty-feeling light, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a nice li'l brew, not great, but an easy drinker.

This beer pours a clear golden color with little to no white head on the surface, most of which is as would be expected. The smell is clean pilsner malt aroma with a touch of clove aroma in the background. The actual taste demonstrates that clove flavor a little more prominently, but not much more. The mixture of pilsner malt and the hint of clove lends itself to this beer being pretty tasty.
