Tasted in a pint glass from draft at Mickey Finn's Brewery on April 7, 2018. Pilsner using specialty German malts and Czech hops . The color of the this beer is very pale yellow and has the aroma of fresh Saaz hops. The flavor of the beer is that of a hop bitterness and crisp, clean malt taste. Because this beer is a lager as opposed to an ale, it has a very clean taste and crisp finish.

Serving: On tap, 4 oz sampler
Served: 7 April 2015
Appearance: Pale yellow color with a minimal head. The color looks a bit thin. Crystal clear. Left little to no lacing on the glass.
Smell: Almost non-existent, and easily the most disappointing aspect of this beer. The beer smells very sterile- there is almost nothing in the nose except a faint malt sweetness and almost a dry medicinalness.
Taste: Much different than the nose, thankfully. There are soft malt notes with some of that classic biscuity crispness. Solid bitterness without being overkill. Soft expressions of noble hops add a nice pinch of spice without being overkill. Really a nice drinkable beer. Finishes semi-dry.
Mouthfeel: Crisp and light with medium-high carbonation.
Overall: Man, if only the nose was better on this beer. Overall, this is a good to-style German Pilsener, and one that is very drinkable. I'd like to see it a few ticks bitterer and with a more profound nose, both with malty flavors and some noble hoppiness. Would recommend.

Served in a mug at the brewpub.
We need more Tom Cruise beer references in beers... This one pours a clear light-amber-straw topped by a half-finger of white foam. The nose comprises wheat, grass, flowers, very light lemon peel, and a touch of dark greens. The taste brings in more of the same, along with an underlying backbone of light toffee. The body is pretty light, with a moderate carbonation and a crisp, kinda dry finish. Overall, a pretty nice pils, nothing outstanding, but very enjoyable in the Summer heat.
