Slightly dark orange-gold color, cloudy with a 2 finger frothy bone-white head that leaves large streak lacing.

Aroma is on the sweet side with strong pineapple notes along with some citrus.

The taste is also sweet with the same pineapple notes but it is tempered with sweet candy flavor. The malt stays in the background pretty well and the bitterness is pretty low. The finish has an odd taste to it as the candy flavor begins to degrade and a tart (cherry flavor maybe?) kicks in.

The feel is very soft an d creamy from the lactose and there is a small amount of alcohol coming through, which is understandable given its ABV. There is a also a noticeable seltzer fizz that sticks around.

This is an unusual beer in many ways, mostly for the candy flavor. All in all a pretty clean flavor with a finish that doesn't do too much for me but it is a minor complaint over all. Very impressive and not what I was expecting out of the Vermont beer scene. Pleasantly surprised though... can't wait to try the Lush I picked up on my trip along with a few others from Frost.

Had on tap at Farmhouse Tap and Grill in Burlington VT.
Very good milkshake style IPAwith smooth lactose aroma and taste contributions as well as milky smooth body.
Has a light orange citrus cast to it the comes across as creamsicle.
Delicious.

"I'm Melting! Canned 4/4/18"
Pours a hazy orange-gold with a huge head into my glass. Soft, creamy citrus upfront, primarily mango. Sweet, frothy hop juice with a hell of a citrus kick in the middle and end. The lactose "softens" the overall bitterness, echoing the creamsicle effect they were looking for. Pick it up!!

Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch white head over a hazy golden body with some sticky lacing. Nose of tropical fruit, candied citrus, and just a tiny bit of hay immediately after pouring. Very nice taste of tropical fruit with a dry, citrus pith finish. Creamy feel and half way through it DOESN'T fall victim to my complete and utter disdain for lactose IPAs that are severely lacking in anything resembling a carbonated mouthfeel. Overall, brewers take note; lactose in moderation really works.
Cheers to Hinesburg!

16oz can. Pours a hazy dark orange color with over an inch of thick, frothy head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is almost like a creamsicle along with some peach, tangerine and guava mixed in. The taste is orange peel and lime zest followed by sweet cream. Orange sherbet finish with light tropical notes. Creamy mouthfeel with low carbonation. Slightly dry. This variation of Lush works quite well.
