On tap at the brewery.

Great looking beer with a nice, hoppy aroma. Citrus hops are at the forefront of the flavor, but there's caramel malts aplenty. Finish was a bit more bitter than I'd prefer but still nice flavors all around.

Lighter mouthfeel with moderate carbonation.

Overall a good hoppy amber. Kind of like a cousin to Nugget Nectar, though the malts here aren't quite as flavorful or pronounced. Still a good beer and one I hope they try to perfect in the future.

On tap at the brewery, pours amber colored with a nice 1 finger foamy beige head that faded slowly and left really good lacing in spider web form, easing down and leaving rings as it dropped.

Smells very hoppy up front, with nice citrus fruity notes, light caramel, biscuit, piney hops and mild grapefruit. While it comes off as hop dominant to start, it settles down and becomes more balanced as it warms (not that it lasted very long).

Tastes a lot like it smells, with citrus hops, lemon zest, fruity citrus notes, mild grapefruit, clementine, light caramel, biscuit, piney hops and bread crust or dough as it fades with more hoppy sweetness mixed in. Hop dominant in a way that reminds me of a Tröegs amber ale, not to the level of Nugget Nectar but close to Hopback Amber Ale. Sand City knows how to use the hops to bring out the best of these cones to allow for very fresh tasting brews.

Average mouthfeel, body and carbonation, this went down smooth and easy and to me was another very sessionable beer which made the trip to the brewery worth it yet again. Bitterness was mild, hops were juicy and this was very tasty. I'm looking forward to having it again.

Pours a deep Amber with a half inch off white head that was well retained and left lots of lacing. Smells and tastes of citrus fruits (orange, a hint of grapefruit, lemon zest), caramel, sweet malts and bread. As the beer warms the citrus fades and the caramel and malts come out. Medium bodied, light carbonation, slightly dry mouth feel.
