Served in a Barrage snifter glass from the can which I picked up today at Sand City South (can was also brewed there).
Appearance: Pale yellow color with a medium bubbles to the body creating a white head rising half of one fingers length.
Smell: Light floral aroma which sticks but leaves pretty quickly.
Taste: Light floral, almost like a faint lavender accompanied with grapefruit zest.
Mouth: Soft carbonation with a crispy roasted french bread feel. Sticky and a little dry yet you will not see me containing at all.
Overall: Good brew, honestly been a fan of Barrage for years and was happy to see that logo resurrected once again. Grab if you love any type of IPA because this one is hard to dislike. Salud!

A: The beer is rather hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of mango and gooseberry are preset in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of stone fruit. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and rather juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is quite juicy and does a very good job at showcasing the Mosaic and Nelson hops.

Tall can - 5/17/18 - from the source a few days ago
Pours lighter near, near straw, lightly hazed, off white cap that lasts, and leaves some Lowe sheeting and scatteredlacing.
I get mango and kiwi on the sniff.
Simply delicious NE kinda IPA, ripe tropical fruits abounding. More mango, more kiwi and an undercoating off over ripe pineapple.Delicious

Pours a hazy dark yellow with a one inch fluffy white head that was well retained and left lots of lacing. Smells of citrus fruits, pine and some tropical notes. Tastes of bitter oranges, orange peel, pine, grapefruit and a bit of under ripe pineapple. Medium bodied and carbonated, slightly bitter and lingering dry finish.

Canned 05/17/18, it pours cloudy gold orange color with a foamy 2 finger white head that was packed with microscopic bubbles, making a crackling noise as it faded very slowly and left excellent foamy lacing. Another looker out of Northport.
Smells dank and of grapefruit, mango, pineapple, papaya and orange juice, with trailing citrus, some biscuit and light graham cracker, then caramel and skunky weed. Very tropical smelling overall with a lot of juicy notes.
Tastes like it smells with a burst of tropical fruit up front, then came the grapefruit, pineapple, mango, tangerine, papaya, lemon and orange peel, followed by grassy notes and mild peppery spices. The malt backbone is sweet with biscuit, toasted grains, light graham cracker, brown sugar like French Toast, faint caramel, tea leaf and piney notes. The citrus lingers then fades with skunky weed and a nice juicy citrus sweetness.
Mouthfeel is incredibly creamy and smooth with mellow carbonation, a mild bitterness, an average body feel and generally a easy about it that slides down easier than it should while masking the 8.5% ABV perfectly.
Another great collaboration between Sand City and Barrage, another Long Island brewer. Well done.

Golden body, hazily opaque, with a fluffy white head that draped lace lines behind... Strong grapefruit aromas predominate, underscored by dank resinous notes... Lots of bright juicy grapefruit citrus action on the tongue as well, with subtler pine behind, bringing the bitterness and some nuanced impressions of kiwi, berry, and lime... Medium-light feel, soft and clean... 5/13/17 can release...

snagged cans at sand city on Monday (yesterday)...this was canned a few days ago.
deep sienna yellow look with soapy streaky lace. nose is a deep resinous sticky icky hop. sweaty and dense. taste follows suit...this is a big chewy deeply hoppy old school IPA. this is not a NE juice bomb, but this is a damn fine IPA. good collaboration from 2 great breweries. that said, I prefer most of sand city's other IPAs over this...but they are very different animals.

My first beer from Sand City. 16 oz. can poured at 48° into a teku.
Light, almost milky yellow-orange with two fingers of chunky white head.
The nose is a somewhat subdued blend of orange, tropical fruit, and dankness that opens up nicely as it warms.
The taste is phenomenal. I think I said "wow" out loud. Tropical citrus sorbet. Enough bitterness on the finish to remind you it's a DIPA. Good enough that I'm shaking my head in disbelief after each sip.
The mouthfeel is medium. Creamy but not overly so.
Overall, awesome.
