HAD IN DOWNTOWN CHARLOTTE ON DRAFT IN A ROOM-TEMP PINT GLASS.

AWESOME VANILLA TASTE (or is it after taste?) - VERY DRINKABLE - NO ISSUES!

ADVERTISED AS MADE WITH COFFEE BEANS BUT MY TASTE BUDS COULDN'T DETECT...HAD THIS AFTER A SPICE PIZZA PIE - COULD HAVE BEEN THE CULPRIT.

IN ANY CASE: WHY HAVEN'T MORE CRAFT BREWERS "BRING TO MARKET" BREWS WITH A HINT OF VANILLA?

L: A crisp honey pale golden ale, half finger head, decent lacing

S: Smells like cookie crisp cereal, hint of apples, and just the slightest sour note of onions

T: Tastes like the left over milk from a bowl of cookie crisp, slight coffee note, quite sweet

F: Smooth and crisp, what you would expect from a golden ale

O: A fun tasting beer, the flavor could get old after a while but definitely worth a try. Wooden robot is a cool brewery so I recommend trying it on tap

On tap at the brewery taproom.
Pours is clear amber with a good head that leaves some lacing.
Smells and tastes as expected for a "coffee vanilla blonde ale" made with vanilla beans. Lightly sweet. The coffee and vanilla beans are obvious in both the aroma and the flavor. Much as I love vanilla, there may be more in here than optimal.
Medium-light carbonation; medium body.
