12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass
A: Nice amber, opaque colored body, white frothy finger head, that dissipates but leaves a nice lacing down the glass, nice attractive pale ale.
S: I get a little bit of the sweet malts and some citrus hops in the aroma, smells very good.
T: Good hoppy bitterness, citrus notes of grapefruit. Good malt backbone after the hop bitterness, good tasting pale ale.
M: Good medium mouthfeel , refreshing, finishes slightly dry
O: I enjoyed this pale ale from Stoudts. Another solid addition from their lineup that I have experienced. Refreshing, price is ok, would definitely have again.

L: nice golden clear pale color with lively carbonation and a 1 finger frothy head; has a rather quick dissipating lace
S: hops come through on front end as light resins and then a citrus/mild fruity smell backend
T: pretty much follows smell
F: initial mild feel on the tongue with a burst of tingly carbonation that dances on the tongue
O:a good quality beer that goes down well

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking slightly pale hazy orange color with some light descending streams of golden yellow rippling through the beer along the sides. The head had a nice one finger white foaminess that displayed a nice beauty to show a super nice foamy rockiness over top of the beer glass. The smell was intricate through some nice piney to slightly spicy features to mark their turf underneath my nose. The taste had a nice full sweet to bitter pine blended very nicely with a light citrus sweet to bitter hoppiness. There was a super nice citrusy somewhat spicy aftertaste and a dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was sharp but delicately woven into the blend of the intricacies of the body. Overall, nicely done APA that I would come back to.

More beery with a kiss of hops on tap at the Barbary for the Dead Milkmen. Has that just right amount of bitter hops to keep you coming back with a strong malt backbone. Slightly citric. Well carbonated and crisp dare I say a bit watery.

Huge frothy head. Huge malty aroma. Massive malty taste with solid hopping. Love it.

Let me start out by saying this...I was stunned at how similar this is to Bell's Two Hearted, there's a few slight differences that make this not quite on the same level, but what a great effort by a local brewery. Look is a coppery brown color with a thin head but with lasting wisps of foam and lacing. Smell has lots of floral and citrusy hops and some pine. Taste has big citrus flavor (lemon, orange, grapefruit...both the juices and the rinds), some pine, and some floral notes. Good balance between bitter and sweet. Feel is about medium with medium carbonation, finishes dry and clean. It's just slightly more harshly hopped and slightly rougher on the finish than Two Hearted, but overall, a fantastic APA option for beer lovers in PA and the nearby areas.
