The London Grill in Philly is only place you can get this one, as it's brewed specially for the place by Stoudt's (see below). It tastes like a pale ale, roughly, in terms of its hops character, and the amber color reminded me of a traditional West Coast pale. In a blind test, I woudln't have labeled it a lager. The lacing is really rich and the mouthfeel is full, almost chewy in the head. It's a very drinkable brew, with notes of fruit and sweetness coming through after you get past the hops kick.
The beer is named after a convict at Eastern State Penitentiary, which is just up the block, who grabbed a pint at London Grill right after he broke out. (Don't worry, you won't be sitting next to any jailbirds if you go to London Grill--the prison is long closed and is now a tourist attraction). I'd break out of prison for this beer.

This beer is overwhelmingly ... average! :/
It is an extremely sessionable easy drinking, smooth (boring) beer. There is a time and place for it though. We had this tonight at the Lancaster Dispensing Company and it was suitable next to the wings but by itself ... nothing glamorous.
Appearance: Brilliant amber color with fantastic lacing.
Smell: The same as every other average amber. Well balanced mix of malts and hops but truly very hard to find the aroma.
Taste: Classic amber ale. Very nice palatable hop profile with a strong malt backbone. tasty but nothing special for an amber.
Mouthfeel: It has a very smooth mouthfeel with a nice tingly middle.
Drinkability: This is a very easy drinking sessionable beer. It may lack complexity and glamour but it is a great backyard bbq party beer.
Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!

I sampled this one on tap at The London Grill, just across the street from Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia. This beer is named after "Slick" Willie Sutton who escaped from Eastern State and made his way over to the London Grill to have a beer. In any event, this beer came to me with a thin whitish head sitting over an amber colored beer. There was a good deal of carbonation coming from the bottom of the glass and these bubble kept a very nice, thin layer of foam on top as I sampled this beer. The aromas were slightly spicy with a hint of malt. The taste was at first like honey, nice and smooth. This yielded to the bready sensation of malt. The aftertaste was somewhat dry and a tad bitter. Overall, this was a pretty good beer and I'd have another if I should come back to the London Grill.
