On draft in Santiago
Bright clear yellow golden, thin white head. Sweet grainy aroma of typical adjunct lager. Taste follows, bland, a touch of corn flavor, mildly sweet. Thin and fuzzy.
Overall it's not terrible, but not good

A 355 ml bottle in Santiago Chile on 28 August 2018.
Pours with a clear golden body that has high clarity but only a short, fizzy, weak head.
This is a good rendition of a European pilsner crossed with a Heineken. Hop forward, with good strength in the flavor. Mild bitterness.
Light body and medium-high carbonation.

I tried the Cristal at the flabiano rossie in Santiago. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent and taste are similar to most beers of this style. The Mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok.

es una cerveza muy popular en Chile, si bien no es de gran calidad y sabor da mucho gusto tomarla porque es bastante regular, es una cerveza que mantiene sus caracterÃsticas en todo lugar y momento por lo que da bastante seguridad tomarla.

Lot of haters on here, but it's at least way better than Bud, Miller, or Pabst.
Perhaps it's the fact that I climbed a mountain today, perhaps it's just not that bad. Either way, I've enjoyed it this evening.
The appearance is not great, the head fades into nothingness rather quickly.
The smell is ok, not a whole lot going on other than some very lightly roasted malts.
Taste is ok, like the smell, not a lot going on here.
Mouthfeel is quite smooth, very refreshing.
Overall, a beer that I would certainly pass up for another (like Kunstmann or Kross here in Chile), but when on a budget, Cristal can absolutely substitute adequately. (1200 CLP [2.17 USD]/1.2 liters? c'mon. It's too easy.)

Bright yellow golden color with a thin aired head with decent retention given a strong apparent carbonation feeding it.
Faint aroma of cereals and heavy on sulfur.
Flavor of sweet corn, some diacetyl, sulfur, a distant herbal hops. Mild dry aftertaste.
Light to watery body with good carbonation.
This beer gets really bad once it warms a bit, it gets really unpleasant. Worst beer I had in Chile, though I have another couple of Adjunct Lagers to try. On tap tasted a bit worse than the canned version for some reason.
