Brewed with Pilsner and Vienna malts with a touch of wheat. Zythos and Galaxy hops additions in the boil enhance the fruitiness provided by the French farmhouse yeast. Lightly dry-hopped with Galaxy and Hallertau Blanc hops.

Obtained a can om 5-31-23 from a friend who acquired at the brewery. Canned 3-23-23; consumed 3-2-24. Cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured deep golden with a very nice white head that has some nice hang time.

Nose is okay, not getting any funky notes, just a tad of citrus hops.

Taste is a pilsner malt base that takes on the farmhouse yeast nicely and allows fruity hops to dominate the flavor. Drinks like an APA/IPA.

Mouthfeel is light bodied and very smooth and refreshing.

Overall from a stylistic perspective it kind of misses but drinkability is easy and tasty.

Clear deep gold, big white head, excellent retention, bands of lace
Green banana, citrus, white pepper, very herbal, a bit of clove, slightly earthy
Citrus, soft malt, spicy, slightly tart, dry
Medium light bodied, could use more carbonation than what you can get in a can
Really, really good

Definite apricot with some banana peel and coriander on the nose. A hoppy Brett aroma.

It drinks like a pale ale. Very hoppy. Thirst quenching but a bit heavy on the hops. Some Brett banana peel.

Golden. Some haze, not cloudy and unfiltered.

Pours a mildly hazy yellow with a soapy head that quickly thins out.
Smell is citrus and apricot. Slightly sweet.
Big taste of sweet, juicy orange. Mildly bitter finish.

Hazy/translucent and golden orange with a 2 1/2 finger white head and light lacing.

Aroma of citrus and funky spice. Earthy.

Taste is tart/sweet, lemony and fruity with a funky bitterness. Spices were on the subtle side, except for a single blast of coriander.

Medium bodied and crisp. Slightly astringent.

A pretty good Saison. One of the best, actually.

On tap:
Mostly clear pale golden, nice white head, starry night landscape lacing.

Grassy, white pepper and unripe apple yeasty nose,

The fruity dull apple to pear opening, perhaps dulled by the bitter hops. They seem to throw a damper on the fruity notes (works for me), but also yields and odd toothpaste/citrus pith note. Grass and pepper notes are up my alley, but not dominant.

Hoppy saison is real close to being really good to me but that weird note is a tad too weird for me. So close, but not all there for me.

From the can, Head lasted forever, good enough to explore other offerings from this brewery next time I'm in the area
