This unique blend is soured with our house blend and followed up with a clean ale fermentation. Heavy on the wheat, you'll find a soft and delicate mouthfeel. The addition of the tangerine to the fermentation tanks brings out the tartness of the lactic while keeping the beer dry and refreshing.

12 FL OZ can
Served in a nonic pint glass
This beer pours a brilliant pale yellow hue. it is topped with a fleeting head.
I smell briny, tart tangerine.
It has an excellent tartness. I taste salt and orange. Light orange flavor.
Light bodied with a thin and dry mouthfeel
This thing goes down very easy. I can see this being a great beer to drink all day on a hot day in MS. Nothing over the top which makes it a perfect session beer.

Pours a murky, hazy golden color. 1 finger white head. Not the best retention.
Lots of tangerine on the nose.
Tart tangerine on the flavor. Not too sour.
Crisp clean body. to this beer.
A decent sour from the "deep south"

A - Slight hazy bright yellow in color with just a slight layer of lace that fades to a mild ring.
S - Smell the slight vinegar mixed with tangerine and peel sourness. Edge is kind of taken off with the wheat but its pungent.
T - Interesting taste doesn't scream sour but you can taste the wheat and fruit which compliment each other perfectly. As a fruit beer it is tasty!
M - My only complaint it does feel a bit watery but it is rather smooth. Maybe fault of a bit under carbonated?
Overall as a fruit beer I love it but as a sour its just OK. Goes pretty well with spicy food.

Sassy, racy, zesty and sprite, Chandeleur Island Brewing sets out to show that island life is more than just light lagers with a wedge of lime. Their sour, citrusy and vibrant ale proves to be a thirst quencher to contend with the most sunny of days while pairing quite well with flip-flops.
Pouring a hazy light gold and crowning with a creamy eggshell froth, Lil' Miss Sour shows off her sass with a tantalizing scent of orange, grapefruit, tropical an herbal scents. Nearly perfumy to the nose, the beer open up to the palate with a creamy wheat sweetness that's redolent of taffy, pastry and sourdough.
As the fruit flavors rise to meet the level of malt, its lead by the tangerine additions with a generous, branch-ripe character. An accessorizing taste from hops allow for a grapefruit, pineapple, passionfruit, papaya melange to support the tangerines. Spicy, herbal and sharp in its late palate, the bitterness comes way of sassafras, verbena, green tea and lemongrass.
Medium light in body, the equal parts of sourness and bitterness resonates with a grapefruit heavy tropical punch flavor with suggestions of sangria playing closely behind. A return of sourdough returns the taste to the wheat beer side of sour for a creamy aftertaste to support the fleeting acidity.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/11/2019. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with solid retention, that reduces to nothing pretty quickly. No glass lacing, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy tangerines, citrus peel/zest, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of tangerines, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy tangerines, citrus peel/zest, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; light spiciness, and zesty bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy tangerines, citrus peel/zest, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of tangerines, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tag/tartness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and fairly acidic/tangy/zesty mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is an outstanding fruited kettle sour. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of tangerines, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel for the style, and mellowly lactic. Awesome balanced juicy/vibrant tangerines and Lacto complexity; with a great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity for the ABV. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example as expected. Just as impressive as their other sours.

Traded for this a while ago but since this can is undated, I have no idea where and when that transaction happened! Not terribly funky or heavy for a beer of this type, the tangerine took a lot of the bite and edge off of this as it felt as much as a Sour Ale as it did an American Wild Ale!
Quite a lively pour to this as the tangerine-hued beer was bright enough and topped off with plenty of bubbly, loud head that receded like sea foam. No lacing left on the side of my pint glass as this beer was quite thin in consistency. Not a lot of sediment left here either as this felt like a wine spritzer, or the like. Lots of sharp tangerine and citrus in the nose and this smelled quite bright with a bit of wild, yeasty funk underneath that. Balanced with basic malt, a strong sense of pineapple juice took hold of me as this warmed up. Felt a bit like a Radler, especially during the last few sips when this finally went down...
The alcohol was nicely hidden here as the effervescence lingered longer than anything else. This may be seen as one-dimensional by some but it was a welcome break from heavier beers that felt like carbonated juice or Orangina. Worth a go once for a calm change of pace!
