10oz pour at Community Pint for $6.

Really tasty coffee and vanilla stout where the vanilla merely complemented the flavor rather than dominated it, as vanilla often does. Great stuff!

Typical Speedway pour. Black in the glass, but pours a bit thin. Smell is a tons of coffee, with some additional chocolate notes and a lot of sweet vanilla. Taste is very sweet (not overly), with a lot of vanilla and a great, rich coffee finish. Very easy to drink for 12%.

So... This is basically diabetes in a glass. So good. The coffee and nibs combined make this a delicious chocolate treat. Had it on tap for 4 bucks at Whole Foods Wauwatosa. A great deal!

Although a good tasting beer, served in a four ounce glass four six bucks... Not worth the price. Would pay that four bourbon barrel aged.

On Tap

Night of a Million Zillion Speedways
O'Brien's Pub
San Diego, CA

Dark as night black with brown edges, thin head but the body of this beer is just spectacular. It's thick and oily and leaves the glass absolutely covered in sticky lace. Thick as can be and dark as night. Spectacular.

This is a heavenly trip for lovers of chocolate. This has incredible notes that can only be described as gooey, rich, fudge brownies just out of the oven. Complementary to the chocolate is a touch of roast and a bit of earthy sweetness, but the chocolate aromas coming from this beer are simply spectacular.

The flavor is similar to the aroma. The chocolate flavors throughout are authentic, rich, deep, layered and complex. This is perhaps the most chocolate flavor in a stout I've ever had.

Thick, oily, luscious, decadent mouthfeel.

An incredible variation of Speedway Stout, though I still prefer the coconut and vanilla variation just a bit more.

8 oz pour on tap into a chalice glass.

A: body is so black you can actually see your reflection from the glass. Almost no head but that could be to the rim fill of the glass.

S: chocolate, coffee, vanilla, sweet roasted malts.

T: the beer tastes a lot like marshmallows, layers of chocolate, then the vanilla then some of the roasted coffee and roasted malty sweetness

M: Lush thick body where the beer just clings to your tongue.

O: this a top tier beer the regular Speedway stout is already an outstanding beer. This takes it to a whole new level.
