Gold in color with a fingernail of off white covering the majority of the top. The aroma is of enticing pale sweet Belgian malt and sweet Belgian ale yeast. I'm tasting sweet pale malt and sweet, fruity esters common of Belgian ale yeast. This isn't Duvel or Orval, but my goodness you could do much worse. The mouth is crisp, vibrant, and easy going.

Poured from 12oz bottle into Coronado Brewing Tulip Glass. No bottle or freshness date.

L: Nice golden color, can see through pretty well but under close inspection, a little bit of very fine particulate is noticeable. Finger width white head dissipates into a ring.

S: Smell is what first tips you off that this is Belgian (other than the label). Lots of yeasty esters,. Good malt notes, like honeyed buttery biscuits. Not much I can pick up hop-wise. A tough of Banana too.

T: Very much follows the nose, this is really tasty. Very much a Belgian Ale.

F: Medium bodied, pleasantly carbonated.

O: Wow did AleSmith crush this one.

Look: Unfiltered cloudy yellowish amber. No head.

Smell: Oranges, banana, Spices.

Taste: Faint citrus, bit of spices, and again a hi to of banana. Pretty bland. But smooth at least.

Feel: Light mouth feel.

Overall: Basically a lite version of a Belgian ale in my opinion. 5.5/10.

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass.
L--Hazy gold, just like the bottle said. Nice head to start with tons of tiny bubbles. Head dissipated into nothing quickly. No lacing.
S--Yeasty.
T--Bland, with some orange and lemon.
F--Feels flat.
O--Disappointing. Maybe it suffered from its San Diego to Philadelphia journey. I'd say it was a wasted trip.

Pours soft gold, nice fluffy head.
Nose is also a little muted, Belgian, yeast, and malts
Taste is as you would expect, Belgian Yeats domainate but a little stale and dull
I suspect age is the issue....
However, really nice and zesty and oh so Belgian in terms of carbonation.

A: [3.75] No date on the bottle but it does have the ABV (5.75%). Nice golden amber color with creamy white head. The head is not huge but has some staying power.

S: [3.25] Banana-rific. Lots of Belgian style yeast esthers. Not much else is penetrating.

T: [3.50] Similar to the nose but with some added crackers, bready and honey.

M: [3.75] Medium body with pleasant carbonation.

O: [3.50] This is not a favorite style for me - the Belgian yeast doesn't always agree with me. In this case I think it is not so prominent in the flavor as it is on the nose. The nose is a banana bomb. The flavor is rounded out with some additional complexity and backbone that make it nice. I wouldn't repeat this one - but I am not kicking it to the curb either.

Picked up a single from Quick Stop on 10-1-16.

Beer poured golden with a nice white head on the initial pour.

Nose is yeasty with pale malts being very present.

Taste has hints of citrus laid over a Belgian yeasty malt base with a complement of hops that balances things very well.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and somewhat refreshing.

Overall this was a very enjoyable beer that i could definitely enjoy again!
