Pretty delicious stuff! Both the aroma and the taste is a punch to your senses!
A: Midnight black with a thin, mocha colored head.
S: Raisins, roasted malt, subtle coffee, milk chocolate
T: Creamy milk chocolate both mid sip and aftertaste. Some light coffee and roasted malt flavors.
M: Very smooth, almost silk like with a little bit of carbonation and bitterness.
O: Very good….excellent on all fronts!!

This beer looked and smelled amazing once I poured it in the glass. The taste was good, but it didn't overwhelm me with flavor. Don't get me wrong...this is a good beer, but it didn't even crack my top 5 for Imperial stouts.

Black pour with thick tan head; thick lacing; foam turns reddish tan as it reduces-nice. Chocolate and roasted malt nose;whisper of coffee bean as liquid warms. Flavors of toasted cocoa nibs, dark chocolate, bittersweet baker's chocolate, and a plum finish with a little coffee on the back end. Medium, smooth creamy mouthfeel; warming and a little alcohol bite on the tongue. Overall, this is very good. Alcohol is very well hidden and yet present in each savory sip. Haazaa!

Big beer, alcohol flavor is powerful. Some raisin, malty, licorice. Big mouth feel. Good but not over powering on the flavor front

S — Richly roasted chocolate and malt notes, coffee, licorice, cinnamon.

T — Sweet, rich, roasty, dark, boozy, malty, complex.

M — Full bodied, long lingering finish, quite nice.

O — One of the best stouts available, very nice balance and quite flavorful.

Bomber sampled at home one evening (review from memory) - lots of coffee in this stout, as was expected, but other than that not many surprises. A well made stout, rich flavours of roasted malts, dark chocolate and some dark cherries.
