This collaboration with our hoaloha, or friends, at Maui Brewing Co is a hoppy pale ale with authentic Koshihikari rice along with fruit-forward Galaxy hops, resulting in a tropical bounty of passionfruit, citrus, and mango flavors.

Had it from draft into a shaker pint. Clear golden yellow with good head and great lacing. Fruity, piney smell and taste. Citrus flavor, grapefruit. A nice beer after a hard day’s work.

16 ounce can. Pours a murky pale gold with an average white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is lemon, grapefruit, mango, guava, grain, and malt. Refreshing.

Clear yellow colored ale with a small white colored head.
Smells extremely fruity. Strong citrus and mango scents. Grapefruit, Passion fruit, Mango and pine are the strongest scents. Lesser scent of cinnamon and papaya. Very fragrant.
Starts out very dry in the mouth and tasting of soda crackers. Mildly sweet and woody after awhile. Mostly taste of citrus rind. Unsweetened grapefruit describes the taste.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall a very fragrant ale that tastes like grapefruit.

Smell is floral with notes of jasmine, citrus, peaches and a hint of pine.
Taste is crisp and floral, with notes of citrus, pine and some stonefruit. Mild bitterness and superbly drinkable and refreshing.
Mouthfeel is medium, but light, and well carbonated.
Overall, a really nice pale ale, very drinkable but not bland.
