A

At the source. Poured a deep ruby garnet walnut, minor toffee color head lasted briefly, no lacing.

Nice deep rich aroma, heavy, thick, scrumptious dark fruits that have begun to soften, the ooze that would seep out the bottom of the crate + vanilla.

Big flavor, complex, deeply evolving. A nice phenolic sharp note accompanies the oak to be something special. Unmistakeably a quad, it could easy transition to an english barleywine but doesn't but which I suggest for 2013. Full bodied appropriately lifeless slick mouthfeel helps the aftertaste last till tomorrow.
cheers
