ABV (Allen Burger Venture)

Amazing Burgers. Tap list has gone down in size since the pandemic started, but the draft list is full of winners everytime. The can list is also nice. Service is pretty good every time. Bartenders are talkative, but not pushy. Good times, small place in the winter, better in the summer with the patio open.

Visited with my wife after the Sabres vs. Blue Jackets game. Thankfully the Sabres won.

Tried the following beers:
Thin Man Ookla The Mok Imperial Porter (draft)
Tröegs First Cut Mango IPA (draft)
Upland Revive Wild Ale (draft)

Beers ranged from good to great, tap selection was impressive. We also had some tasty appetizers and my wife enjoyed her wine. Service was solid as food and drinks arrived quickly. Nice vibe in here as well. Our overall experience was awesome, and we would definitely come back.

Stopped by while staying downtown. Cozy place. Good food but a bit pricey. Draft list had about 24 beers on tap with a good variety of styles. Many local & regional breweries represented as well. Bartender recommended a couple IPAs. Prices were about $7 for 13 oz for the IPAs I had. Service was good. 5 oz samples are available. I was digging the music selection (stuff like Sonic Youth, Pixies, etc). I would recommend this spot for someone in the area looking for a nice selection of craft beer.

Very good tap list, almost comparable to Moor Pat. A decent environment for people downtown. 5 ounce pours were publicized which is great.

Killer burgers & tap lists. Those f-ing tater tots though. Damn.

 

Must try, we will return back and again.

 

 

 

 

This place is quickly becoming the best craft beer restaurant in Buffalo, NY. The owner was rude to a few of my friends but that didn't stop us from having a good time!
