Very nice little spot. Some macro handles, but also some excellent craft, as well as an excellent (Florida-focused) bottle list. Food is primarily deli options and sausages, and is very good. Doubles as a bottle shop, which is a very pleasant surprise.

I'll definitely make a return trip here.

Located not far from the beach, this cafe has a patio, a small U-shaped bar and an indoor dining area.
Nice selection of beers on tap (see electronic listing inside just past the bar) and a good bottle selection. Beers to go too, including some cold beers, but fewer choices. The small bottle shop in the front features local and international brews. Irresistible dessert case. Laid back atmosphere. Friendly, competent service. Happy hour 2-7 Mon-Fri.
Recommended, especially for those seeking both beer and food.

Don't buy a Stella at this place! I was charged $6.45 for a "20 oz. Stella", it was less than 12 ounces, in a cute little brandy glass....

I complained and got nowhere (5 different ridiculous stories, about it being "an imperial pint" as if I'm stupid, etc.), apparently this is a scam being run by the manager. No response from their website.

I have been here a couple times to try some new beers. I have never had the food but heard its pretty good. They have a drink around the world deal where if you try every beer on there check card you get a free beer every day for a year. I have not completed this task yet. They have some very good beers and some not so good choices. They carry I believe over 100 beers in bottle and have a few on tap. They bartenders seemed pretty knowledgeable about the different beers i have tried there. Very nice, quite place to hang out, they do seem to be a bit overpriced but i have seen much worse.

I went their today and bought some belgians. I have eaten there many times too.

Quality: The food is great. mostly sandwiches and lunch type place. But they do what they do VERY well.

Service: solid, everyone is helpful and good hospitality.

Selection: About 20 on tap, 60-80 bottles from around the world, and a very solid beer store.

Food: great selection of sandwiches and apps.

I highly recommend this place for all vistors. It's a great place for lunch and a good place to hang out and try a great selection of beer.

Stopped here last night on my way home from work. I ordered a Sammy Smith's Pale Ale & some beer cheese soup. I then ordered a 22 oz Hazed & Infused draft for $5. A very extensive beer list and nice food. I've been to other European Streets in Jax, but this is my first review of them. I also bought a 6er of Bigfoot 2008. It's the first i've seen it in stores here, even though I know Broudy's has it, but driving to the beach to save 50 cents doesn't make much sense. Good food, good service, good beer and a good price. I rate this place high.

First visit here. We visited at 4:45pm, was nice and quiet. The place is interesting, mainly a cafe with sandwiches and wraps and some soup and salad. Nothing special food list wise but they did have a big selection of deli type sandwiches. Food was good. Mainly came for the beer though. They have a small bar to the left as you come in and store of sorts to the right, the cafe is in the back and takes up most of the room. I counted 10 taps, mostly German and American micros, nothing special. They have a decent list of bottle beers that start at 3.95 and go up to 5.95, but its a list of what the ABC liquor store sells next door just at higher prices.

Still for Jacksonville its not to bad, sad compared to any Beer towns of course. I have high standards so take this review from someone who expects allot from beer places.

been back for lunch many times, as the new standard of taps in town is 84 , any place with less that 25 taps just has to get down rated, but they do have one of the better if pricey bottle selections, but only the store at jax beach had any really Belgian beer selections

I was in Jacksonville this week and was able to stop by for a beer and a bite to eat. As you enter the cafe, there is a small bar to your left. I’m guessing the bar seats about a dozen. There are plenty of tables. They also have a small outdoor area for drinking and eating. Note that this place is really more of a café than a bar.

They had 20 tap choices. While they had nothing earth shattering, they did have some solid choices. Note that they serve beers in frosted mugs, so remember to tell them no frost when you order. They have a huge selection of bottles. The menu is broken out by country and they have lots of interesting choices.

The food was above average and they seem to use a lot of fresh ingredients. You can get anything from Middle Eastern to German selections. I enjoyed their take on beer cheese soup and the humus.

Service was fine if a bit slow.

They have a nice take out section of food, wine & beer as well. Happy hour brings a discount on beer and wine.

This is the newest of the European Streets around town. It usually has around 10 taps of which half are macros. The bottled beer is where their real strength is. The bottled selection is a little over 100. The service is generally pretty good but don't look for the correct glassware(this is Florida after all). The food, which is mostly German style faire, is pretty good though it consists of mostly sandwiches. There are a number of locals that seem to be there when we go, which gives it (at least the bar area) a more local pub type feel. It consists of a small bar area with a few tables close by and a larger dining area. The also sell some of their beer to take off premises and have a selection that is better than a lot of the local package stores. Just be sure and check your purchases over before you buy-Some of their beer can be quite old.
