Appearance: Poured from a pudgy brown 12-ounce glass bottle into a pint glass. Crystal clear golden with no foam on top but very effervescent.
Aroma and Taste: Rice and light grains. Slight metallic tinge. Typical lager.
Feel: Thicker than expected. Medium-low carbonation.
Overall: Not a bad lager. I can see why it's been around so long.
Pairing: The flavors of the beer were really brought to life when paired with a rich, savory Greek moussaka. The meal seemed to wake up the carbonation too, which was perfect for cutting through the cheese layer of the dish.

Clear, golden body; dense, creamy, white head. Pleasant yet low-key smell; grainy; cracker. Cracker taste with a touch of hop bitterness. Medium-light body; smooth and crisp.
A simple, no frills lager that delivers some astonishingly good flavors.

Greek pilsners are great usually, looking forward to this. Hopefully it will fix my brain...which has become rather discombubulated as a result of a recent Polish IPA.
Fairly typical pilsner appearance, moderate head and effervescence. Aroma is quite sweet and malty, kind of like Amstel. Not much hops noticeable.
Hops are much more noticable in the taste. Hops are a little similar to Mythos, but less refreshing, less crisp and much less bitter. Unfortunately this is a bit too sweet. Definitely reminds me more of Amstel than anything else. It needs lots more hops and less sweetness. Mythos original and ice are far superior, plus they have an easy to open cap ; ) This is so sweet I find it difficult to drink. Though the actual malt tastes good, and mouth feel is creamy and smooth, with a faint hop after taste. But it's nowhere near enough hops ; )
I can imagine maybe enjoying this in a different situation, maybe next to the sea or with certain food. But it's literally one of the sweetest beers I have ever had. The ingredients even list maltose. If it was less sweet, it would probably be quite good ; ) Maybe great for children or girls who love sweet stuff.
Unfortunately this hasn't fixed my brain discombolulation, onto the next.

Aroma: Moderate aromas of pale malts, grains, corn adjuncts, mash. (3.50)
Flavor: Moderate flavors of pale malts, grains, adjuncts, corn, suds, slightly soapy. (3.75)
Feel: Medium-bodied, average carbonation. Clean with some lingering corn and soap feeling. (3.75)
Compared to Stella Artois 2/2023: Pours darker, similar head. Milder aromas. More corn mash, adjuncts. Less honeyflower. Winner: Stella
Overall: An okay pale lager here. Some pale malts, grains, sort of adjunct-type of flavors. Nothing special and I wouldn't say it's a poor lager, but average at best. Nothing compared to Stella. (Rating: 3.64)

I was in Toronto at a Greek pub and they sold this beer in a bottle .
Poured into glass with a 1 to 2 finger head tasted clean and smooth easy to drink.
Overall it was ok I liked it.
Cheers

Shared 330 ml bottle, ABV 5%. Golden colour, low head. The aroma has some sweetish fruity notes. High level of carbonation in the mouth. Tolerably fresh flavour, drinkable, but nothing remarkable here.
