Dark appearance but thin with white head. Aroma is a little malty and nutty. Taste is a thin malty nutty without and bitterness. In general it is a dark beer in name only

On holiday in Crete snikheet or terrace with fans, then a nice malt beer fix hellas dark premium, the latter already ringing alarm bells and indeed a Lager with hints of dark mites but lacking any taste rather despair

a: a murky mixture of dark brown and deep ruby red. head pours 2 fingers, rocky and tan

s: malts, cardboard, berries, and a touch of that generic lager smell

t: caramel malt, generic berries, and cardboard. not much else

m: on the heavier side of medium. carbonation is low, but the beer is still large in the mouth

o: nothing special here. it's not the worst beer i've ever had, but there are better options for sure

I get to enjoy this beer quite often, living in Cyprus, and I must say it's not one of best of this particular type, but it stands quite well. I can easily consume 3-4 in one seating and my stomach won't complain like it does with others of the same type which feel and taste more full-bodied. Having mentioned this, I must admit that it doesn't feel full-body and you can see it straight away from pouring. Head is average and does not last, and I've poured this MANY times. It has a very satisfying aroma though with hints of dark spicy chocolate. Light taste with a light bitter aftertaste! Quite enjoyable

A good beer. I love dark lager beer, and this is decently satisfying.

Very bitter flavour, higher than average volume, nice dark colour and beige foam. I could drink this on a regular basis, actually.

330ml bought and consumed in Athens. 7-2016 BB date stamp.

Chocolate nibs and milk chocolate in the nose.

The flavor follows. A bit too sweet.

Near full body with medium-light carbonation.

O: OK but a little disappointing.

Very decent dark beer, lacking anything worth of notice, but certainly not a waste of money and time. I would drink it again and recommend it if put head to head against other highly rated beers from this style. A good beer overall.

Dark ruby pour, almost black, a modest cap of foam that doesn't really rush tho.
Nice dark chocolate in the smell, a clear nuttiness, low coffee powder, not bad.
Taste starts with some nice dark chocolate/cocoa powder and surprises with some clear nut peel. Add some faint coffee notes and a bit of dark spice, some very faint dark fruit and a roasty bitter finish. Nice aftertaste damaged by a small lager "zestiness", crisp, but lingering.
Light to medium, a bit fizzy, didn't feel watery tho.
A nice dark lager with some clear special notes, really liked it.

"Fix Dark." Premium Beer. BB: 12.2014. .33cl brown glass bottle has a stylishly minimalist black label and a branded pry-off pressure cap. I bought this at a Carrefour supermarket in Kardamena, Kos. Reviewed from notes. 5.2% ABV. Brewed by: Olympic Brewery S.A.

The label claims it's "Limited Edition," which I surmise is a crock of shit. Nice marketing gimmick, though.

Served at fridge temp and allowed to come to temperature over the course of consumption. Side-poured with standard vigor as no carbonation issues are anticipated.

No bubble show forms as it's poured.

HEAD: One finger wide. Pale khaki colour. Decent creaminess and consistency. No lacing clings to the sides of the glass as the head recedes. Retention is below average - about 1 minute.

BODY: It's a dark cola-esque brown-black reminiscent of a schwarzbier. Nontransparent, but not opaque; there's some translucence about the bottom of the glass. I see no yeast particulate or hop sediment.

It appears to be adequately carbonated, and I don't notice any egregious flaws. That said, it's not a unique or special appearance for a beer of this style. It's generally appealing; it looks like a dark beer.

AROMA: Surprisingly pleasant, actually. Cream, hazelnut, sassafras/sarsaparilla notes, almond, pecan, schwarz malts, and dark bread. I think the pecan is actually the dominant note, but this aroma suggests a very well layered beer with excellent amplitude of flavour.

I'm surprised how good the aromatics of this beer are given the brewery. It errs on the sweeter side, to its benefit. I'm hoping the taste is as good as the smell. It's a mild aroma overall in terms of its intensity. I'm really looking forward to trying it.

TASTE & TEXTURE: It's nice. There's a guiding note of dark bread throughout, but while it has the flavour of dark bread, the texture isn't too filling. The nutty notes are dialed down from the aroma, which is disappointing, but the pecan does come through and complements the schwarz and dark malt foundation quite well.

A bit of creaminess gives the texture a nice soft supple feel, which works well alongside the apt smoothness and wetness of the brew. It is a biteen overcarbonated, unfortunately, but overall it's almost a refreshing beer - which is tough to do in one this dark.

No overt alcohol or other off-notes plague the flavour profile, and it has a clean feel and taste; there's no yeast or sediment. Additionally, the texture isn't oily, gushed, hot, boozy, astringent, or harsh. The mouthfeel here complements the taste quite well. Surprisingly well executed.

I like it.

OVERALL: Overall, the beer - while simplistic - is well-balanced and boasts some unexpected subtleties (particularly in terms of the well executed nuttiness). To give it some comparitive perspective, I'd say this has as much if not more pecan character as/than 512 Brewing's Pecan Porter. Sure, it could boast far more complexity and intricacy, but the depth of flavour is above average, and this far surpassed my expectations for a dark beer from such a large Greek brewery. Based on my limited sampling of their products, this is easily this brewery's best offering.

It's very drinkable - even in the summer sun - and I'd love to try it on-draught. While I don't consider it a world-class example of the style by any means, I'd recommend that any beer fan visiting Greece try this - if you must drink beer instead of wine.
