Pours a clear, deep golden coloration with visible carbonation and a huge, foamy, lasting head, with a few floaters on final pour. Smell is dominated by birch wood in a really nice way, with hints of sweet malt and grassy hops coming through as well. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by that birch note, but being balanced nicely by slightly sweet, doughy malt and grassy/herbal hops with the merest hint of citrus as well. Finishes with a light bitterness and tartness, with more birch wood lingering in the aftertaste. Effervescent moutfeel with a light/medium body and lively carbonation.

A light and refreshing summer beer with a distinct and rather interesting birch note and great overall balance. Quite unusual and enjoyable at the same time.

The colour is pale gold, the liquid is somewhat hazy. The finger thick head is white and airy; it disappears quickly leaving some lacing on the glass.

The smell is rather peculiar with sweet notes of tree sap, rhubarb and unripe raspberries. Floral notes in the background.

The tree sap comes back in the taste as well as light clean bitterness, candy-like sweetness and some perfume. Medium body. The aftertaste is a bit tart with tree-sap, spices (nutmeg, thyme) and slowly growing mild bitterness. Birch soda and bitter herbs in the finish.

The carbonation is medium strong. The mid-size bubbles are ling-lived and fresh. The liquid is semi-smooth.

An interesting take on the session IPA style with just enough of birch leave flavours to make it interesting yet highly drinkable.

Straw yellow and a little hazy. Fast dissipating foam, fine lace left quite soon.
Smells of birch and caramel.
Crisp and simple bitterness disappears in few seconds and almost only thing that's left is huge hit of fresh birch aroma.
Can't really feel the malt, quite dry and it's good in this beer, otherwise it would take away the first note from birch.

Very nice!
