The beer is black as sin. The foam is dark beige and comes up right. The foam has medium to large bubbles and disappear leisurely. The foam leaves little trace in the glass. The smells of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and dried fruit. The aroma is a little small dry and has some dark bread over it. The flavors are compact of roasted malt Then comes the chocolate, dates, raisins, coffee, cocoa and some sweetness. The taste is slightly dry and a little salt. Medium body. Moderate carbonation who indulge in a while. A little dry and earthy. Occasionally bitterness which lasts for a while.

The colour is black (120 EBC); the finger thick firn head is compact and beige. Lots of fine lacing.
The smell is very dry. Coffee, some bitterness, grains, biscuits and some cream. Hints of solvents.
The dry taste is a little salt. Roasted malt, smooth chocolate, biscuits and burnt toast. Medium body. The aftertaste is salty, too, with notes of biscuits, pumpernickel and some liquorice. The short finish is creamy with some grains.
The carbonation is medium strong, lots of very small fresh long-lived bubbles. The liquid is semi-smooth and a bit dry.
An uncomplicated and very dry Baltic porter.
