Clear, copper liquid, minimal white, thin head, wisps of lacing.

High hopes for this Florida brew, but right off the aroma of caramel and bready malt are omens of "balance", the word to hop heads that portends a smoothening of our beloved hops by overzealous malt balance.

There is a nice punch of citrus but a quick left of caramel, earth, bread and alcohol which crushes the nice initial amalgam of favors, leaving a sweet, sticky mess.

Medium to full body, alcohol burn, sticky to cloying aftertaste.

There is promise here, but the attempt to make a stellar DIPA falls short of the mark. It appears the Brewers loaded up on the malt to scale the ABV without regards to the hop profile and overall flavor. Don't make a DIPA because everyone's doing it, make it for the hop heads who recognize the potential and love the hop.

Was very pleasantly surprised. Solid malty with a twist of pine IPA

On tap in Orlando. Pours orange with white head. Aroma is of caramel malt, citrusy hops and tropical fruit. Body is full and crisp. Herbal hops, caramel malt and ripe fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long and peppery. Good brew.

Had at the brewery on draft.

Look: Deep amber body with a bright white head, left a nice amount of lacing in the glass.

Smell: NIce amount of pine and some citrus.

Taste: Delicious! Tons of piney hops and hop resin coasts the tongue! If you like your DIPA's piney, this has it!

Feel: Full mouth feel. Resinous hops just coats the tongue and lingers and lingers. Not even a hint of the 9.0% abv in this one!

Overall: HUGELY impressed with this one! Love High Stepper and this is just it's older bigger badder brother that shows up and kicks it's little brothers ass! This is worthy!

This is an imperial IPA? Too sweet for my taste buds. Hop flavors at first taste but they're gone quickly and what's left is malty and sweet. Most hop heads won't enjoy this one.
