From the tall boy can in a snifter. This decent little quencher pours a
nice light golden color with a decent head of white foam that settles
to a thin ring, a light layer, and shows sparse lacing. Nose of lime zest
and a touch of subtle breaded malts with a dash of honey. Flavors
subtly exceed the nose with a lightly tart key lime flavor over a light cracker
and honey malt with a hint of herbal hops. Decent mouth feel; light body,
medium carbonation, and a tart lime accentuated finish.

A decent little lawn mower brew.

Poured a straw yellow with a one finger head and no lace, dissipated quickly. Not much to say about the key lime, it comes through on the nose, but much less in taste. Fairly substantial in mouthfeel for a summer beer, but very refreshing. Some spice notes in there too add a little interest, and it drinks like a witbier. I’d take this over my other beach alternatives any day.

I got a can of this off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle. It poured a clear golden with no head and no lace. The scent had faint lime. The taste was close to Corona with lime...was easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a great summer beer.

Aroma of lime and coriander, pours a pale yellow with a thin white head. Mild lime flavor, with some spice notes, moderate body for such a low alcohol beer. A nice easy drinking summer beer.

M: Light in body, crisp with moderate to high carbonation.

O: A prety good brew.. easy drinking, a little more interesting than your typical lager, and refreshing.

Pretty clear blonde gold color. Decent amount of citrus aroma over top of some grainy cream ale or blonde like malts. There is a distinct lime flavor, but it is not overpowering. A nice compliment to the light club crackeresque base. There is a lot of lingering spent grain flavor. Light, easy drinking, nice beer.

Regardless whether your at the summer beach destination or on the brink of winter, one sip of Taft's key lime accented ale transports the senses directly to that hammock- do not pass go, do not collect two-hundred dollars.

Its bright and zesty golden pour has a tinge of seafoam and amber as it laces with a zesty crème froth. Its gentle bed of malt offers a wheaten character with soft caramel and granola to suggest the graham cracker crust as the body of flavor rests with lime-lead citrus, orange-like perfume, agave and guava.

The bulk of flavor rounds the lime and cream with grapefruit and fresh-cut grass as the sweetness slowly backs away and the taste tightens. Mildly tart with a tequila-like spice and rounded with a sprinkle of salt and the flavors take on margarita proportions. Trending pale ale-like, the finish is playfully bitter and balanced with the succulence of agave.

Medium-light in body, the beer's texture is creamy but trending dry. Its savory saline character suggests a fullness that overcomes the light and refreshing tartness that makes the ale drinkable and effortless yet rounded. Refreshing at its core, it's the perfect beer for the beach or wishing that you were on one.

Clear, golden body with a foamy white head; splotchy bits of foam cling to the glass. The aroma has a toasted, grainy backbone with a fresh lime scent at the fore. Bread crust flavor with a strong lime presence throughout; hop bitterness builds at the finish. Medium body; slick and watery; dry finish.

An interesting beer that may appeal to folks that like shandy and radler beer styles.

Sharp lime notes in aroma. Hong of coriander in the finish.

Flavor is somewhat grainy on the backbone, with a spritzy key lime character that lingers. The finish is dry and a touch minerally.
