750 ml bottle, no bottled on date, but this was just released this week. More intriguing bottle art from Mikerphone, 'Berliner Weisse Style Ale Brewed with Hibiscus Flowers'.

Poured into appropriate Mikerphone Brewing stemware.

A - Beautiful bright pink / red colored body. Very minor conjuration of pink-tinted head that dies out quick. Appears aptly carbonated. No real lacing to speak of.

S - A tart, creamy, wheaty aroma. Tons of tart / creamy souring bacteria. Invokes notes of fruit (mixed berries).

T - Huge tartness initially, but it calms down once your tastebuds become accustomed to it. Lots of fruity berry notes - cranberry, plum, cherry. Lots of sour bacterial flavor on the finish. Earthy / flowery hibiscus is in there if you really pull for it, but the bacterial tartness pervades. Tons of flavor for such a low abv beer.

M - Super tart feel, crisp, and easy-drinking, with good carbonation, and a bacterial / yeasty finish. Very drinkable stuff.

Overall, another excellent Berliner from Mikerphone. I look forward to many more.
