Canned 3/13/20; drank 5/14/20 @ the Yarchives.

Black appearance.

A violent pour yielded a big, noisy dark tan head which quickly dissipated; no lace.

Maple syrup, dark roast coffee bean, hazelnut & chocolate syrup notes in the nose.

Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.

Maple syrup, dark roast coffee bean & chocolate syrup flavors up front; hazelnut extract notes on the finish.

No balance, no nuance, just a punch in the face...with shitty coffee to boot. Full pass moving forward.

12 oz. Can
Canned On: 03/13/20

Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice dark brown color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus tan head, which leaves some minimal sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, with some pretty nice chocolate/toffee, vanilla, hazelnut, coffee, maple syrup. The taste is pretty nice malty, hoppy, really nice touch of chocolate/toffee, nice vanilla note, coffee, hazelnut, maple syrup. Medium Body, ABV hidden very well, a pretty nice complex brew, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. Glad to see it around.

Nice, rich maple flavor. Coffee with hazelnut quite present as well. Lots of flavor without being too sweet or cloying. Also not too thin for 8 percent either.

Lighter black with a brown cap. Smells like most in the series, sweet maple, expressive earthy coffee, semi-sweet chocolate, a kiss of vanilla, but now with a roasted hazelnut element added in. Taste is a hazelnut maple coffee drink in a beer, stay lighter but is in face rich and fudgy with flavors. Feel is sticky, thick, decent roast breaking it up. Fantastic variant. Thanks for the can Nick!

Can. Tan head. Black color.

All the advertised flavors. Coffee, not roasted, maple syrup, and hazelnut. Vanilla and nutty. Chocolate. Malty. Smooth and creamy. Very enjoyable stout.

12oz can, date stamped 03/13/20; shares with my wife, who loved it. Dark brown colored stout with a foamy tan head. Great aroma accentuating the coffee, maple, and hazelnut; chocolate and roast in there as well. Sweeter flavors that blend very well together: dark cocoa, hazelnut, coffee, roasted barley, and a heavy dose of maple syrup; mildly bitter earthy hops, caramel, and a bit of char round out thr flavors. Fuller body, nice and creamy, ample carbonation, sweet yet balanced finish. Yeah, this is awesome.
