10/22/22, poured from can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Pours a hazy orange, with very slight head and lacing. Smell is a juicy orange/citrus, with a solid orange and bitter pineapple taste to match, with a very mild malty finish. Overall very nice.

Canned 6/13/22 (3 months ago)

Appearance: Pours a only slightly hazy (80% clarity) medium to deep orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 8. (3.75)

Aroma: Strong and juicy aromas of orange, mandarin orange, sweet nectarine and kumquat. Some cantaloupe and papaya underneath. (3.75)

Flavor: Moderate to strong and sweet flavors of orange, mandarin orange, nectarine, orange juice and tangerine. Some sweet grapefruit with papaya and cantaloupe melon underneath. Lots of sweet and juicy Mandarin orange and nectarine. (3.75)

Feel: Heavier bodied and leans sweet. Lower carbonation. Minimal malt body. Finish is juicy and sickly sweet that lingers. (3.75)

Compared to Toppling Goliath King Sue 7/25/22: Pours a clearer, darker color. Juicier and sweeter aromas. More mandarin orange and nectarine. Less citrus, citrus flower, pineapple, and mango. Sweeter and less creamy. Winner: King Sue

Compared to Bearded Iris Tunnel Vision 9/6/22: Pours similar. Similar aromas. Slightly more mandarin orange and less tropical berry notes. More orange juice and less tropical, pine notes. Smoother and sweeter. Overall, very similar.

Compared to Bearded Iris Ever Clever 9/6/22: Pours hazier, similar color. More mandarin orange, OJ, cantaloupe. Less lemon and orange citrus rind. Less pineapple. Heavier and sweeter tasting and more resinous.

Overall: A very sweet NEIPA that showcases the Citra hop. Strong Mandarin orange and nectarine. Drinks sort of like an intense Lagunitas Super Cluster. Resinous and juicy, but not really creamy. Not as pillowy as described. I think my one qualm is that it could use a more creamy and malt addition to improve the body here. The flavor is there, but it feels over-hopped and sweet compared to the body.

05.10.22 on bottom rim of can. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.

A: Pale hazy gold with 1-2 finger white foamy head with average to below-average retention with average lacing.

S: Aroma is above-average to great with pineapple, guava, orange, lime. No malt aromas. Esters are low and vaguely fruity.

T: Flavor is exceptional with blasts of pineapple, lime, guava, orange, and papaya with moderate intensity and very well-integrated with a soft toasted oat type of malt flavor in the aftertaste. Esters are not overbearing, more enhancing the fruitiness.

M: Feel is also top-tier with medium body and carbonation with smooth slightly tacky finish.

O: BI Attention Please! is an excellent version of a hazy DIPA with huge fruit flavor and super-smooth feel.

Hazy citrus, dank hops, and grainy malt. Great for a local beer, average by national comparison.

Stark can - white and green, No package or expire date and very little info other than abv , a catch phrase or 2 like "cultivate variety" and key word descriptors like "pillow" and " tropical".
Boy, this better be good 'cuz I'm about to puke already.
It's cloudy but not murky like a neipa oat starch haze, slightly amber-yellow with a tall, white head that dropped to a wispy film in a couple minutes with some smears of lace left behind.
The aroma is grain husks and fresh squeezed OJ along with some pineapple and sweet honey notes.
Smells nice and vaguely beer-like enough by not being overly citrusy, but not unique or impressive.
The flavor is rich and more complex than expected. Great fruity hop flavors as advertised with a sugary malt depth that stands up to the flavor hop profile.
Good balance of pale malt sweetness up front followed quickly by the melon, citrus and pineapple notes from the mid boil hops, then a mild bitter finish, tongue still coated in a sugary glaze.
Body is solidly medium, satisfying and appropriate for this beer.
Finish is soft ( pillowy?? barf!) and mildly alcoholic with a tingle of hop acidity.
Not a bad neipa from the home of country music.

Last tall boy (canned a month ago) of a 4 pack into a tulip…looks about right — hazy dull orange, decent head and good lacing, not a ton of retention. Nose is dank citra, grapefruit rind and pith, papaya, and some bready maltiness. Taste follows, though fuller notes and also a little more weed…nice layers of flavor. Mouthful is fairly lively for the style, full but not in a bad way (and to be expected for the abv), and a little burn (which i’d rather not have). All in all, lots of good stuff here, though a little more heat than is ideal for me.

I'm not sure how I have never rated this beer... I've had it a hundred times...

I can't expound upon the other adjectives other folks are expressing. It's a damn fine 100% Citra IPA..

This is a rotating offering from then and I can usually find it pretty dang fresh...its always delicious!

16oz can. Poured out a very cloudy, hazy, golden orange color with a good-sized, off-white head of foam. It left thick rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of melon, orange, grapefruit and sweet toasted caramel malt. Tropical fruit taste with a punch of melon, toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

A - Hazy orange, milky and pale. Short head, dense white, fading slowly.

S - Strong dank hit of weed hops, with pith and citrus, and tropical notes.

T - The open is pungent hop dankness, with strong tropical fruits, peach highlights, and a moderately bitter pith bite in the close.

M - Moderate weight, some alcohol warmth, and dry finish.

O - Very good NEIPA, tasty and satisfying, and quite drinkable.

I get these great beers from Saveon in Mentor, Ohio, and every week there is one brew that I say, "Oh man, I should have bought more than one." This is that brew. It is six days old. Five when I bought it.

You open the can and out comes a big, stanky hops smell. The pour is all cloudy and yellow. Exceptional.

The taste is big and rude. It hits you with a mountain of hops and malts in a very down to business way. This is a serious hazy double IPA.

Highly recommended. I'd never heard of this brewer, but this is a great introduction.
