Pours a murky pale, dull orange. Aroma is orange zest, tangerine, clementine, papaya, lemon zest, and grassy hops. Finish has just a touch of earthy hops. Flavor profile is tangerine, clementine, papaya, orange and lemon zest with subtle grass. It's driven by tropical fruits with the additional grass and earthy notes adding a bite of contrast, despite still staying firmly centered on hops. Mouth feel is medium with a mild crispness. It softens towards the finish. Overall, punchy tropical fruits throughout.

Figured this would be juicier and zestiest. Don’t know the exact can date, so maybe it’s faded. Plenty of tangerine and mango notes, bit of malt, bit of pine and dankness. Lighter body than expected, booze is subtle. Good, not great.

Had a 12oz pour of this yesterday with lunch at The Grill Next Door, for $9.00.

Served in a small tulip, it was a muted, hazy golden color. Had light carbo, and a thin, rim-clinging white head. Lacing was on the light side also. Aroma was super, with apricot, mango and tangerine in abundance. Body was medium, with a decent feel on the tongue.

Flavor was like the aroma, though not as robust. Had toasty malts, plus the aforementioned tangerine, apricot and mango. Was also a bit pithy and resiny. It was a decent, tasty brew, all-in-all, though nothing I'd go out of may way for. Prosit!

A: Pours a murky medium bright yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate apricot + peach + pale orange + pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film covering a little more than 30% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit + tropical/passionfruit + citrus/lime + pine hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + wheat + oat malts with moderate amount of sugary sweetness.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + wheat + oat malts with moderate amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit + tropical/passionfruit + citrus/lime + pine hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving moderate lingering citrus/grapefruit + citrus/lime hop flavors.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp initially with moderate amounts of creamy soft/fluffiness mid-body and a moderate amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with lots of Citra on display in this beer. Definitely one that I would grab again.

A - Pours out pale orange, with a bit of transparency through the haze, and a short white head. Fluffy, pillow-like, it fades quickly to a minimal cap through which orange shines through. The lacing is extensive, and a small bubble wall in drink lines.

S - Big hit of pine and resin, with just a bit of juiciness and tropical fruit.

T - The promise of the nose delivers in on the tongue, with lovely citrus and passion fruit tropical notes, a resin, almost minty note, and a subtly sweet bread malt. The finish is tart and brisk, a bit of tannic, tea like bitterness, quick to wrap it up and get the drinker coming back for another swig.

M - Brisk carbonation and moderate weight, this is an IPA that does not come across nearly as big as its ABV might suggest. The close is easy, snappy and firm, leaving very little residual sharpness or weight.

O - A superb DIPA that is delicious and easy-drinking. A mighty fine beer here, and one I'd buy again.
