Notes:
The triple IPA version of our Homestyle.
First, came the original. Then, the double. But for YEAR THREE, we’re leveling up again. TRIPLE HOMESTYLE showcases even more mosaic in citrus-berry-juice glory + the same smooth demeanor you know, but a bold style that’s decidedly distinctive.

These guys are M&Ms Masters of Mosaic. Just a big ole juice Bomb! It's like blueberry & raspberry bushes growing in the middle of a green onion patch. Taste follows. Lots of bright tropical fruits supported by a bit of dirty zest.
Double may be my favorite in the series but this is awesome too!

Appearance is translucent golden orange with medium egg white head and great lacing. Aroma is floral up front with big citrus and orange juice behind. Taste is exactly the same; huge floral taste on the front with some great citrus and OJ on the back end. The slightest bit of alcohol on the aftertaste with more floral hints after. Mouthfeel is medium, sticky, smooth, pillowy, and soft. Overall this is one of the best triple IPAs I’ve ever had. It’s amazing.

Pours a cloudy golden orange with a finger of loose white head that dissipated fairly quickly.
Smells of citrus, berries, a bit of resin.
Taste follows with a bit of peach lingering as well. The resinous notes are more pronounced in the taste than they are on the nose. Definitely getting a mosaic blast in this one.
Medium body, well carbed. Smooth with the high ABV well hidden.
Overall another tasty one from BI!

Pours a rich dark yellow/burnt orange with a moderate head and very good retention. Surprisingly not a haze bomb. Not exactly transparent but certainly less opaque than most of their other offerings.
What distinguishes it from Homestyle and Double Homestyle is the INSANE floral character, which is evident at the first whiff. Also on the nose are citrus and maybe even some melon and honeycrisp apple. Tastes of pine, mango, orange. Medium carbonation with a rich piney bite, which the oats help to mediate a bit.
I am convinced Bearded Iris will never do anything wrong with the word Homestyle on it. Single and Double are downright flawless, and this is no different.

16 oz can released yesterday and poured into a snifter. Only moderately hazy, on par with Double Homestyle. There was a golden color with a modest white head that lingered for a while. The aroma was pungent with tons of blueberry, orange, peach, and herbal resin. Very much like their Double, but... more. Same with the taste. All of the above described flavors were there on the palate - a true Mosaic bomb. In addition to the berries and orange, stone fruit made an appearance late. It was slightly sweet on the finish, but less so than Hopslam, for comparison. The double-digits ABV was hidden until the very end, when a gentle warming gave it away. Medium bodied and carbonated. Overall, a killer "triple" which I will gladly buy again if they release it.

Surprisingly clear, very West Coast IPA-looking, though a nice light-golden coloring with a compact but quickly-dropping bright white head.
Nose is dank and filled with orange fruit, grapefruit rind, dark berries, and floral greens. Very grassy, surprisingly clean.
On the tongue the berries really jump to the front, but there’s a familiar Homestyle orange and citrus riding strong right behind. Minty, herbal, semi-sweet, and just a tad green. Really love the extra note of sweetness, which provides strong honeydew and cantaloupe notes on the teeth long after the swallow. Despite the sweet residue on the teeth, the finish comes off as bitter and dry on my palate.
Silky and smooth but a little thinner than I would expect for the ABV. There’s a small amount of boozy heat but the ABV is largely hidden.
I had this one at the anniversary party and then again on a re-release months later. Damn good drinking experience both times.
