2+ week old can poured into a "Be Hoppy" glass.

A standard BI hazy IPA look, with a pale yellow-gold body, total opaqueness (but no turbidity), and a mild eggshell foam head that drops quickly and laces only faintly.

Very Homestyle-esque on the nose, with the Mosaic shining through. Strong, juicy orange (fruit and rind) notes, very grassy, BI's familiar yeast profile, tons of grape musk, lots of dank greens, a touch of mint, cracked white wheat, and a wonderful mixed berry medley at the end. Not really breaking new ground for a BI IPA/IIPA, but in general the aromatics are on point.

Mixed reactions to the flavor profile. On the first few sips I was really blown away, as the citrus, berry, white grape, dank greens, and peppery hop residue combined perfectly into a tasty, slightly-sweet, and harmonious experience. But the astringent hop bite became more and more pronounced, pushing away any and all aspects of sweetness and instead coming off as grassy, citrusy, bitter, and "hot." I've referred to that bite as "starchy" and "green" in the past, assuming the hop and yeast matter are what's causing it and hoping that a little aging will help mellow out the burn. Whether any of that is right or not, the burn and bite are pronounced on this one, which is disappointing because what's behind the burn seems very good.

Thin body but velvety smooth and silky texture, with just the right amount of carbonation and almost no alcohol heat, though it's admittedly tough to gauge the latter given the green bite.

AmeriCanadian said it best. The only difference being I do not find the beer to be overly astringent or hot.
