Notes:
Our newest release isn’t easy to pin down. Strata + Cashmere + Citra hops tie to subtle strands of expressive English yeast for a DIPA that’s smooth and just a bit of a sweet talker. Silky fresh-sliced mango mouthfeel and undaunted notes of lemon squares, clementine rind, and refreshing citrus sorbet leave a lasting impression.

Very typical color, nose and taste. Good NE Style beer, would like more bitterness on the front and back of taste.

Tasty New England style DIPA! Bearded Iris does a great job with all their IPAs and did not disappoint here. I purchased a four pack, so will come back and tweak review later.

Picked up a 16 oz single from the Blue Door Bottleshop in Hendersonville 6-28-21 for $5.00. Canned 5-6-21; consumed 8-21-21. Also picked up a single from TW-Greenville 7-19-21 for $4.29. Doubling down on my IPAs today! Both cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a hazy orange with a very nice white head that has good hang time.
Nose is citrus and tropical forward but some age and warm shelf storage may have caused deterioration of the hops but still very fragrant nonetheless.
Taste is a decent sized pale malt base with a lovely addition of hops that lend mango, orange, and lemon impressions. Finishes with a nice rind hop; 6/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is soft and light bodied leading to a refreshing finish despite the larger abv.
Overall you can't go wrong with Bearded Iris IPAs!

16oz can. Date stamp on bottom can rim is '07.12.21'.
Hazy, pale gold colored body. Two finger frothy white head, settles back to thick cap. Surprisingly short on lacing. Leaves some white particles in the body.
Aroma is present from the opening of the can. Sweet tropical fruit - mango and papaya, and citrus - orange and pineapple. Light malt undertone.
Taste is candy sweet, and then slightly bitter citrus rind comes in at the end. Has some hop dankness at the very end and into the aftertaste. There is a supporting malt that allows the flavors of pineapple, orange, mango and papaya.
Soft and more than medium mouth feel. Each sip fills the nose with aroma but the mouth is dry by the end. Good carbonation.
Not a thirst quencher because of the dryness left behind, but the nose brings forth the effort to take another sip. More than one would ultimately get too sweet; would rather prefer a little more bitterness that would snap the palate.

Bright orange juice body with a eggshell white head. Tropical fruits abound in the nose, especially pineapple, papaya, and mango, with orange and floral hops in the background. Taste adds an element of dankness to the floral hops binging out lime zest, lemon juice and guava. A little busy but potent, the juicy body makes it work, though hop bitters are very light with the dankness leading on the end. Another well made neipa from BI

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 05.06.21
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, guava, peach), pretty nice little diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, guava, peach), pretty nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer. Addictive! Orange Julius! MilkShake!

I tried this beer at the brewery. What a find! It poured a hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had tropical fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright tropical fruit presence and a fruit peel spice finish. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a good-sized, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sticky rings of lace. It smelled of pineapple, grapefruit, orange and sweet caramel. Great tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a sharp, piney bitterness.

Among the smoother and fruitier of the Bearded Iris Contengency, they employ the aid of Cashmere, Strata and Citra hops to complete a flavor that fits the haze craze mold perfectly.
Pale goldenrod and held in a firm matte appearance, the pastel Escape Artist builds a creamy white froth that carries the seducing perfume of tropical fruit, citrus and fine herb across the nose. With a light shortcake maltiness, the beer's early impression in taste are of light pastry dough, honey and with a bready density.
Once the ale washes the middle palate, its all about the hops. A full and fruity taste comes in waves with impressions of ripe mango and mandarin oranges. With hints of red grapefruit and a tangy lemon character, a sharper fruitiness is found. But a rounded tropical flavor passionfruit and pawpaw precedes a moderately bitter taste late as the nuances of fresh grasses, tea and hemp come about.
Medium bodied and malty-dry on the palate, the hoppy beer is mildly peppery and with a smooth sprucy finish. A medium length aftertaste of citronella and juicy cantaloup has us reaching for another. Its artistry is simply inescapable.
