Teaming up with Martin's Bar-B-Que of Nashville, it makes perfect sense to create a perfect pairing between barbecue and beer. But what the team comes up with is a lager that pales in comparison to the stronger flavors of bbq.
Table Time Lager hits the glass with a bubbly medium straw hue, sharing near bright clarity and building a short-lived but frothy, spritzy froth. As a floral and herbal scent of grasses, straw, a light flowery bouquet and fresh baked bread hover over the bubbles, the taste soon leads to a grainy-sweet taste with light bread, communion wafer and a light husk character to start.
Mild on the middle palate, the bubble pop and carry off much of the flavors, leaving behind a rather bland grain remnant taste that shadows only by a mild and peppery hops that turn from floral and into hay, herbal greens and a peppery bitterness that's a shell of more German-styled pilsner.
With virtually no aftertaste, the beer finishes bland but error free. Reeking of adequacy, the beer may make for a crushable session but its soulless taste renders it highly forgettable and will in all likelihood fail as a decent barbecue pairing.

This beer was brewed in conjunction with Martin's BBQ and the Giving Kitchen over in Nashville.
That makes sense because it would pair perfectly with food. A great big slab of ribs or a big barbecue sandwich...
Straightforward clean easy drinking American lager. One of those beers that you could drink just about anytime.
I'm hoping this isn't just a one-off. I'd like to see this beer make a return visit... Especially this summer while in the pool.
