No doubt, the very best Nashville has to offer, as far as brewery and quality goes. Do yourself a favor and stop by. The Germantown area in general is cool as well.

This is one of the coolest production taprooms I think I've ever been in. Strewn about seating under large, functional chandelier surrounded by unique wall art capped off by a cool backdrop to the bar in a large old-meets-new decorative portrait frame for the taplist.

A long separate bar top faces the production area, where a DJ was mixing some tunes while we were there. The lights were set low and the DJ had some projectors in case anyone had ants in their pants, and the brewing area was also dimly lit. It's both simultaneously mellow and high energy hip. There's also a fairly sizeable outdoor patio if you'd like to further mellow out in the Nashville heat, where the music is also pumped out to.

The tap list was almost entirely dominated by variations on IPA, but for a pilsner and a kettle sour. I've never been too floored by any beer of theirs I've gotten in trades, and that held true during my visit as well. The quality is all right, they just don't seem to be hitting their potential as far as flavor profiles.

The spot generating the most buzz from the Music City. I happened to get to the taproom minutes before a mob of people, coming in for a can release. In the few minutes before I was overtaken by the swarm, I loved the quirky feel of the taproom. The beer is really, really quality. I wish I would've picked a different day to stop by. I feel like I didn't get to really enjoy all this place has to offer.

Stopped at the brewery on our way back from Cincinnati. A bit hard to find but definitely worth the effort. The service was outstanding, friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the vibe very much. Great beer people.

The beers I had were great, very high quality. Will go back when I can.

Visited for their three anniversary party/release. The staff rocks and were super chill and friendly. They actually bought doughnuts, coffee, and brought out heaters for everyone who waited in line in the elements. They controlled the line and accommodated as best they could. The draft selection was on point and the ambiance was something I really enjoyed. I will absolutely visit again when in Nashville.

Chill vibe, with help and advice at the bar (no table service when I was there). Cozy atmosphere, with tables, couches and a pool table. Ten or so beers available for tasting, half and full pours. Growlers, 4-packs and march for takeaway.

Large warehouse production facility with back section set up as tasting room. Small bar seat 10, 4 or 5 tables inside - along with a pool table, and about 20 picnic tables outside. 8 beers on tap, all solid... friendly service. Rainy day when I was there; looking forward to returning.

A quirky little place, a production brewery first with a small tap room area it seems to me. There is a pool table inside, and a more extensive beer garden; it was a tad warm on a Saturday mid-afternoon when we were there, but there was hardly anyone outside. A handful of tables and at most a dozen seat bar.

Admitted, they are an IPA-driven brewery, but selection-wise, there were under but around ten offerings - all but one pastry stout was an IPA or APA. All the IPAs were fairly similar and all but I think one was in the NE vein. Now, they do the style decently enough (though I found most of them had a oat/flour/malt aspect to them that dull the hops more than I'd wish).

Service was decent - helpful and friendly, fairly attentive. being a production brewery without much going on outside on our visit, the vibe was a more subdued "come and try our wares" kind of vibe. This is fine enough, but I wonder if there's other, more interesting times when the outside is more happening.

Small craft brewery hidden in a largely industrial area in Nashville. Neat artwork, cool people and great beer. Many delicious hazy IPAs that looked like carbonated juice and a very good kolsch that I highly recommend

this place is righteous! a little off the beaten path off in some old industrial feeling area like so many breweries are these days. a big gravel parking lot leads up to a spacious, minimalist, and newish paito, concrete with picnic tables and string lights, not much to it, but less is more sometimes, and the vibe here is great in the evening with a setting sun casting mellow low light. inside is soft of victorian feeling at the bar area, no need for the dj playing music too loud to talk on a friday night, but aside from that, the energy is good, mellow and comfortable, the taproom area opening right up to the brewery with fermenters all over the place and what appears to be plenty of space to grow, cool vibe here, everyone is here for the beer in an area that would get no foot traffic otherwise. the beer is amazing, they have at least ten on tap, lots of hazy pales and ipas, with some darker stuff in the mix too. they had a peach and strawberry hoppy brew that was next level, a gnarly cookie stout, and an oat and mosaic one that was killer too, but for me the chief of chiefs double dry hopped was my favorite. service was fine, leaning pretentious but plenty tolerable, and the dude gave us some good recommendations around town. all of us were really impressed by this place, their beer is fabulous and the vibe on the patio is excellent, mellow as can be, time just flew by, and their beer is some of the best i have had anywhere in nashville. ill be back here for sure!

My wife, daughter, and I spent a great couple hours on a Sunday afternoon at Bearded Iris. A big, industrial, high-ceilinged place. The brewing equipment takes up most of the room, but there is a nice pub feel to the bar area. There's even a pool table. A big outdoor deck.
Six beers on tap at our visit. APA, IPA, 3 DIPA, and a stout. Homestyle was excellent.
Two people tending the bar on what looked like a busy day, and they kept things moving quite well.
Would recommend this to anyone visiting Nashville.

Strange vibe. Service was actually pretty decent, and the beers I had were decent too. Selection was poor though. All the beers were pretty much variations of the same style, hazy IPA. They had one stout, but I was warned that was not their forte, so I stuck to the IPAs. Not sure I'd return unless somebody was begging for only IPAs.

Bearded Iris has a large bar with about a dozen bar stools, black and white checkered flooring, extravagant chandeliers, and lots of comfortable seating. The quality of the beer is top notch. There were only two servers working the day we visited, but they were both friendly and helpful. They currently have eight beers on tap.

Such a great place - easily my favorite brewery that I visited during my recent trip to Nashville. Like so many breweries, Bearded Iris is located in an industrial park in a large warehouse-type building. However, instead of just putting a few seats among the tanks, they built a truly pub-like environment within the brewhouse that has a beautiful bar and a whole lot of ambiance. Also, the beer is very good. When I was there, bit was IPA and DIPA only on draft.

I think this place is awesome. Love the easy feeling of this warehouse. Fun atmosphere with a pool table, kids, dogs (some of the kids played the dogs in pool) and just the type of place a brewery should be.

Awesome up & coming brewery! Really putting Nashville on the map in terms of IPA's & everything they have put out has been excellent! They have a very loyal following

This is the best brewery that I’ve come across. 4 pack cans are 13-14 dollars. But I keep paying it. This is all I drink now and I’ve even driven to Nashville just to get their beer.

Great up & coming brewery. Best unfiltered hazy NE style IPAs south of Richmond. Getting ready to double production. Definitely recommend stopping in if in Nashville or close.

Stopped in here on my way to Mississippi recently. I had been hearing a lot of buzz about this brewery so I was stoked to check it out. Walking in there a nice area for outdoor seating. There is a a pretty good amount of seating inside too, several tables and some funky chairs scattered around plus the seating at the bar they have too. They have a pool table, some nice chandeliers for lighting and some really cool artwork on the walls. The brewing area is off to the left in a rather large warehouse looking area. The service was very good and the beers were very good too. Well worth the stop if you're in town.

Industrial warehouse type building, with a half wall dividing a taproom area from the brewing area. The wall art, chandaliers, and furniture give off a 1920s vibe. Relaxed atmosphere with some tables, chairs, small couches, pool table, and board games. The beers here are almost unarguably the best IPAs TN has to offer. The only flaw in their beers, is that they are nearly all IPAs. 8 Taps, expect 7 to be devoted to world class IPAs and 1 rotating another style such as kolch, stout, saison, pilsner, etc. If your into wild new exciting styles with adjuncts, you likely wont find it here. A new beer (or two) is released every friday at 2pm. To go beer is available in 4 packs of 16oz cans while supply lasts (usually about a week), and crowlers of whatevers on drafts. No food is available here, but food trucks do show up, and your welcome to bring your own. Bartenders always provide outstanding service.

This brewery is easily making the best IPAs in Tennessee, and it's not very close.

The location is sub par, and the building isn't very nice, but who cares if they are making great beer!

These guys are killing it, and I highly recommend. So many great IPA and DIPA selections. Check out Homestyle, Attention Please, and Red Handed!

One of the top two breweries in the Middle Tennessee market. While Southern Grist has a wider offering of high quality beers, the lineup of Bearded Iris pale ales, IPAs, and IIPAs is absolutely unmatched in TN. You get the feeling their taproom and brewery is going to grow and evolve significantly in the next few years. Right now, the vibe is mellow but solid, the service is personable but limited given the nano-brewery size, the quality of the offerings is outstanding (including crowlers and 4-packs to go), and the selection is fantastic if you like APAs, IPAs, and IIPAs, but awful if you're looking for anything else.

I visited on a Wed evening right as they opened. Light crowd. 8 beers on tap, mostly IPAs and DIPAs. The woman behind the bar was very friendly and helpful, great attitude. The brewery is located in an industrial area and the spot itself is industrial. There is plenty of seating which includes an old fashioned bar, Pool tables, sofas, table and chairs and picnic tables out on the patio.

This is a nice place with a pool table and a beautiful huge bar. The beers are great and the service was great as well. I only ding them a little because they had a ton of IPAs on tap so a little less diversity. This brewery is big on the New England Style IPAs and they do them well. The paintings on the wall of the place are very eclectic and nice.
