My favorite beer bar in town. Outstanding selection with 36 frequently rotating taps - including high gravity brews - and 20 + bottles. Local, regional, and national craft breweries are represented, in a wide variety of styles. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Relaxed vibe - alt/Americana music on the speakers, two big TVs over the bar, and darts in the back. Limited but tasty food menu features gourmet hot dogs. Highly recommended.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed the Hop Stop - I'm sure I did, and it must have just been lost. Lost with that, however, was the name of the bartender who was so friendly and nice to me, so I can now only apologize to him.

I stopped in, right after opening because that's when I was checking out of my hotel, and he set me up with a beer, gave me recommendations, and assisted me in finding my way around town. He asked where I'd been and where I might be going, and helped me to plan my journey. (The most important thing about that was that he was right on, hitting every nail on the head). Along the way he also threw me quite a few samples of the beers they had on tap and we had a great conversation - as a brewer myself, to talk to someone who really knows what's going on in the industry is a blessing!

For food it's basically just hot dogs and nachos, but apparently they're very good. I don't know, but the table full of guys behind me seemed happy - or was that simply because their boss took them to lunch at a beer bar???

They seem to be on top of everything that's happening in their small part of the beer world, and while I was there the rep from Blackstone came in to deliver a keg of Black Belle which was apparently quite limited for outside distribution. Beer knowledge and selection?... that's hard to beat!

Overall, worth the trip out from city center (or the Gaylord).

The Hop Stop is is the best place in East Nashville for craft beer. They may not have the most taps, but they always have something new for me to try. They have awesome events where they tap special beers, most recently was a Bourbon County event with free shirts and pint glasses, and then a Founders CBS keg. They have bingo on Sunday nights and records(vinyl) for prizes. They also have a good trivia night Tuesdays.

Great selection of beers well rounded I thought it favored Sours a little, but excellent nonetheless! Bartenders were super knowledgable and friendly, great with recommendations if you wanted them. All beers served in proper glassware. Place was very clean which was nice the bathrooms were clean as well. Music was fantastic too mix of Neil Young, America, Dylan. Food menu is not very extensive but the hot dogs were good and so was the hummus plate. Well situated bar a few tables and a few stand up tables around the three dart boards in the back. On some of their beers they offer half pours if you want to try it but want more than a thimble full which was also nice.

One of the best spots to grab a beer in the Inglewood area. Great vibe and awesome selection. The taps rotate regularly and you can get half-pints, so you can sample more kinds in one sitting. If they had more food options on the menu I'd probably be here every night!

Perhaps the best beer selection in Nashville, carefully curated and always rotating. Quality bar food with an interesting twist, uniquely crafted hot dog menu as well as some mighty tasty mexican inspired guacamole, nachos and tacos.

The staff is very knowledgable and always willing to have a conversation about what's being poured into your glass. This place is a bit of a secret, but don't sleep on it.
