What a great place to spend and afternoon drinking beer!! I stopped by here while in Asheville for work, and I am really glad I did. The place is gorgeous, and is truly a beer destination. from the impressive restaurant/bar area, to the brewery, and finally the massive outdoor space, Sierra Nevada has a lot to offer.
I sat at the bar for a late lunch and found the food to be quite good, even if a bit pricey. They had a varied menu, with options to suit most tastes. The beer selection was quite good as well. Over the last few years Sierra Nevada's commercial offerings have started to trend toward being almost exclusively IPA's, leaving behind some of their more interesting options. I was happy to see several lagers and a few stouts as well. I had a flight and pint of the 1979 Stout (which was quite good).
The bartender was friendly and attentive, and was helpful with the menu options.
Overall, this place was terrific and I am looking forward to coming back

This a quality beer destination, the scale, the presentation, the reverence for beer left me gobsmacked. Loved the interior & exterior areas, nice blend of industry & nature
Beer quality were on point
Service was attentive & helpful
Nice selection of staples & one-offs, stuck to the barrel aged stuff with exception of a local variant IPA
Food was great, but bring your wallet. Liked/loved everything I tried. Portion sizes weren't reflective of price IMHO, but I didn't starve
A must go

OMG!!! There is a review out there that calls this place "Malt Disney World" and it is not lying! The road in seems to led to an amusement park! All of Sierra Nevada's latest-greastest are on tap, but if you want to try one amazing dish, try the Bison marenanted in bulgoki suace,w/ grilled bok cjoy and kimchee puree...pure bliss!! Sierra Nevada has created a "destination"!!!

This place is unbelievable. The gutters are copper. Enough said. The tour is top notch. What a great addition to Western North Carolina.

Visited July 2018 between vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC and the trip home to Indiana. The atmosphere is upscale but laid back. It was very crowded due to the holiday weekend and the band that was scheduled to play at 7. We (me, wife, mother-in-law, 2 teenagers) took the heritage tour, which was very nice, and ended in a 8 beer tasting. The beer was awesome, but there were only a handful of taps for small batch stuff. The gift shop was awesome with six packs and singles of almost anything plus other stuff if that's your thing. We ate at the taproom and the food was outstanding. Very good, freshly prepared and served beautifully. Expect portions and prices in line with high end artesian food vs. typically southern portions. The duck fries, chicken wings and pretzels were particularly great. This is really a must see brewery, my words cannot do it justice.

Really nice vibe to the place. It is immense, there is a long drive up to the parking lot to a very large building. Everything within is built to display grandeur and leave visitors in awe of the size of their operation. Having a self guided tour available at all hours was nice. The food was quite good and very reasonably priced. Selection is very nice, mix of tap and available bottles. Would have liked the flight samplers to be a little bit larger.

I don’t get the low rating on this place, unless it is backlash because SN isn’t some small artisanal small-batch organic naturally fermented brewhouse that passes the muster of those who want you to think nobody knows more about beer than they do. You know the type. The vibe is outstanding - even folks I know who don’t drink craft beer love it. Dog friendly, if that’s your thing. The food is outstanding, especially the lamb and sirloin offerings. The beer? It’s freakin’ Sierra Nevada. Yes, they are available in every grocery store in the South but that doesn’t mean the beer sucks. Moreover, there are a ton of options you can’t pick up at the local Harris Teeter which are worth sampling. The only downside is the long waits for food but, damn, 60 minutes passes pretty quick with SN on tap, a band playing in the outdoor amphitheater, and after a game of bocce in the garden. Just go - it is amazing.

Never been to the Masters, but the well-manicured road leading to this huge facility made me feel like I was driving up Magnolia Lane. Neat gift shop and nice restaurant, but the huge back deck and the enormous back yard were what really struck me. Good variety of small batch and traditional Sierra Nevada favorites available. I'd spend lots of time here if I lived in Asheville.

This place is incredible. Massive, super nice and clean. Huge and I mean huge outdoor area in the back, a concert venue, bean bags inside and a huge 2nd floor deck. Food is incredible, servers friendly and the beer is SOLID. 4 of us went and everyone was blown away by the size and magnitude of this place. Truly a must visit.
