Notes / Commercial Description:
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer. Brewed with a generous portion of wheat and spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel, this beer is fruity, refreshing and slightly cloudy in appearance.

Cloudy, lemonade-like color with faint, pure white head.

Classic aromas of banana and clove give way to rich but clean corn flavors and a bright finish.

Pillowy texture which seems like it should be out of place but isn't.

Pairing: Bacalao fritter with corn and jalapeno chowder

Poured from a bottle to a mug. Had a bright, vibrant pale yellow color and an opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch head and some decent lacing.

This had an excellent smell. Lots of citrus (orange, lemon) and some yeast thrown in.

Excellent witbier taste. Very fruity and spicy. Not as strong on the finish as I would've liked, but still good.

Had a solid amount of carbonation for a good prickly mouthfeel.

This is a very drinkable example of a witbier. Like most beers of this style, it's not heavy and goes down easy. Very refreshing.
