At monks cafe which is what this review is based on was awesome. Great head smell and mouth feel . A few days later at a restaurant it was only good—missing head aroma and mouthfeel. Monks was obviously from a fresh keg. This is a classic and great tasting white beer

Taste - wheat slight spice and some Belgium and faint lemon

On tap at Danny Coyles in San Francisco.

L: Pours a cloudy yellow, with a fluffy white 2-finger head. Standard retention, but very nice lacing.

A: The smell is a nice mixture of spice, yeast and wheat. Not overly strong, but it is consistent.

T: Flavor follow the nose, with a complex mix of spice and citrus, with a touch of citrus zest. Good carbonation, but felt a little light in body. Overall dry finish.

O: I don't typically go for witbiers, but this was pretty tasty. Maybe a little light in the body, but overall I can see me getting this in the future, especially if I want something light.
