Visited on a Monday afternoon (damn it - should've realized they closed at 5). Since I made a trip to Belgium last year I've really become a fan of Belgian styles and everything I tried at Allagash was really well done (something that can't be said for every American brewery trying to do Belgian Styles). My non-beer drinking wife even liked their beer! A must stop if you're in the area.

Allagash is one of the most welcoming breweries I have ever been to. From the person who checks your ID to the person pouring your beer, everyone does it with a smile. There's plenty of space around the campus to hang out and have a beer. Their cellars tour is another great additional feather to their hospitality cap.

Visited in the spring of 2022 with friends on route to camping at Acadia National Park. Large brewery. Plenty of space. Beers are fantastic with a large selection. Service was kind and knowledgeable. Pet friendly.

Allagash was at the top of my list to visit when in the Portland area, and did not disapoint. Nice outdoor seating area, even though the brewery is in an industrial park type location, there is plenty of mature trees around the seating area. Draft list was mix of their standard stuff plus some specialty/seasonal beers we don't see distributed to PA. Available in different size pours. Beers I drank were high quality, and their on-site food truck had great lobster rolls and lobster grilled cheese.

Very cool spot in an industrial park north west of downtown. Spacious layout, not sure if the indoors is even open yet, but the outdoor setup is impressive: plenty of seating, service bar, food truck, game space. About 16 beers on tap, I had the Sixteen Counties which was very nice. Friendly servers... great place to hang out.

So happy to finally make it to one of the OGs of the New England craft beer scene. Beautiful facility with a great indoor taproom and equally great outdoor, covered beer garden. Happened to visit on the day of release for Ghoulschip and James & Julie. Amazing bottle selection as well as a vast draft list in the taproom. One could spend an entire weekend on this street with several other breweries in the neighborhood.

Amazing experience. Super welcoming; great, informative tour. Awesome beers on tap. Way above and beyond what we expected from a brewery. Dan the tour guide was outstanding. Must visit.

If you go to Maine, you have to visit Allagash and take the brewery tour. If you're lucky you'll get to see a Coolship in process. Of all of the breweries I've visited this was my favorite.

I love this place. I went there on a Saison beer trail weekend with my son. It was a highlight of my life. Although a while back so I cannot remember the beers by name, I had a flight of five and we were then treated to a private stock sixth, and every single offering was interesting, complex, unique, and worthwhile. The staff was wonderful, and the moment they latched on to the idea that this wasn't my first rodeo, they were also really personable. I cannot wait to go back!

This brewery is great if you like Belgian style beers. It’s fun, they have an inside area that’s nice and an outdoor area with large picnic tables. I had fun, and would go often if I lived in Portland. Probably better when it’s warmer. Good service, knowledgeable staff. Watched over my baggage while I had a flight. It was bit outside downtown. Interesting change of pace from all the hazy IPAs around downtown Portland. Definitely worth a trip if you are in the area. It’s a fun place and overall I recommend.

A little glammy. Bar, merch and takeaway counter and beer hall, with very limited guest food option(s). You can get tastes, flights, pours and takeaways. Staff was a little over-the-top beer geeky when I was there rather than what I would describe as fun. I think they want to be the smartest beer guys in the room, and I don't doubt that they are. If you like their beer, you'll probably look past some of this. Because it's in the Industrial Way brewery incubation "beer park", lots of food trucks pull in with a variety of offerings, and you can walk to the other half dozen breweries there and sample from them as well.
