Very Good

Notes: Business in the front, party in the rear. This hop bomb is one part East Coast haze-bro (Citra), and one part old school West Coast (Simcoe). Don't pick a side in this fight --- you won't win.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, hazy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sticky patches of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, pineapple, citrus and toasted caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with caramel and a piney bitterness.

16oz can

Hazy and lacey. Smell is rank and dank and dusty and rusty - plenty of booze. This as juicy and tropical and citrus-y as I'd expect, but is also much more bitter than I'd have guessed, along with more alcohol than the 6% or so would suggest. More carbonation than usual here, too

If I'm nitpicking then this has some issues, but it just tastes so good right now

16oz can. Can bottom is stamped for canning date as '08/26/20'.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. Half a finger of tiny bubble, white head, which sticks around. Leaves behind torn sheets of lacing.
Aroma fruit and grassy hops. Pineapple, mango, and a little pine.
Taste is slightly bitter throughout, with a touch of sweetness from the tropical fruit (pineapple and mango). The bitterness yields some pine flavor.
Thicker mouth feel. Excellent carbonation.
The 4-pack lasted me through most of September, and this last can is well balanced for tone and blend. Enjoyable.

Fashion Mullet pours a hazy golden color, with a long lasting, lacing head. Dry fruit filled aroma. Flavor is dry, with dry tropical fruit flavors, a bit of a bright hop flavor that balanced the sweet with a little bitter. Good body and feel. Overall, fantastic IPA, juicy, fruit notes, with a great dry body.

Can from Canton St July 2020

Unremarkable, somewhat muddled hazy ipa. Not there best.

Pours a cloudy orangish yellow with a thick white head. Decent lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine. Flavor follows the nose with citrusy hops in front and some dankness in the finish. Feel is medium bodied with decent carbonation. Overall a nice beer.

I had one of these last weekend and now again and I must say that it really works well.

This pours a delightfully less hazy than all the New England styles we have been overexposed to. The aroma is strong and appealing. The taste is a balance of sweet and bitter. It all goes down like a big brew.

Highly recommended.

Pours a hazy golden color, with a white head.. Fruity aroma of citrus and melon. Taste was oranges and tangerines coupled with melon and peach. A soft mouth feel and very citrus forward. A nice IPA i like Then Sophristy series better.

Poured from a pint can into a tulip.

Pours orange gold and hazy with modest head but excellent lacing.

The aromas are pretty special. Orange, peach, grapefruit, chive, pineapple, grass, and faint pine.

The brew is not as flavorful as the aromas portended, but it's still pretty darn tasty. Fruity on the front end, with grapefruit, peach, and hints of mango. And then the second act at mid-palate arrives, and that is where this brew really shines. Chive, grass, crackery malt, and hints of weedy dankness arrive, with just a bit of resin. The brew closes with just a touch of booze and some acidity.

The brew is just beyond medium-bodied and nicely carbonated. The acidity persists here and helps dry tings out.

Lupulin wasn't getting into a rut or anything, but this brew is a solid departure from a series of juicy-sweet offerings. The herbal notes are special.

16 oz can, canned on 4/28/20, into Yakima Valley Hops glass.

Has a nice juicy amber-orange body with a creamy cap of 2 fingers that stays for a visit and then recedes to a half finger. Lacing up the sides. Pro stuff.

This beer has some nice aromas, with tons of orange juice and tangerine and grapefruit juices, with the added sweetness of pineapple and a little fresh cilantro. Very inviting and off to a great start.

Flavor does a 180 and opens with some dead grass and sawdust, then follows up with a short burst of red grapefruit, some berries, wood, lemon, a touch of pine, and then more dead grass and sawdust.

Feel is juicy and acidic, has a nice medium body, with lingering acidity and polite-almost-forceful resins. The hard mineral water quality is here in the feel as well.

Overall, this was a poorly crafted IPA. Reminds me of some of the Voodoo Ranger stuff that New Belgium has put out recently. Should say "brewed with actual sawdust". Not very good, and not a revisit.

L-hazy look..glowing light orange..perfect fluffy white head off the crowler pour.

S-Fresh citrus (oranges, tangerines), a bit of a floral aroma as well

T-Great flavor...citrus forward with the oranges and tangerines....deeper in a bit of sharp unsweetened pink grapefruit emerges....malt is unobtrusive but does it's job laying the canvas.

F-Perfect medium body...sturdy....a bit creamy texture....

O-Billed as East (Citra) vs West (Simcoe) but to be honest I think it's a great blend that really accentuates the citrus notes from both hops.

Hazy, bright golden hue, slim white head.

In the nose: Bold citrus notes popping out. A little murky in the mix, but still a vibrant, hoppy IPA aroma.

In the mouth: Bursting with hoppy deliciousness from the start. Grapefruit, orange, and lemon. Gets to juicy, then dry, but never quite bitter. Which I miss, but that's me. It almost gets to the bitter hoppy edge that I want to go to, but veers off into juicy/hazy land. It's a trip, and I can dig it.

I declare this not merely yum, but yum-a-dum-dum.

Lupulin keeps putting out tasty IPAs that I can't help but enjoy.
