12oz can at Snow City Cafe. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of toasted caramel, orange, grapefruit and pine. Sweet caramel taste with tropical fruitiness and a bitter bite.

On tap. Pours a cloudy gold with a pesistent off-white head. Initial impression is pine, citrus rind, and a touch of earthiness. Mouthfeel is medium and quite refreshing. Finish is clean and fairly dry. A very well-done IPA!

When I first had this beer I immediately thought it was the very ideal of what a dry IPA should be: crisp, refreshing, some citrus. Later tastes reassured me that it is very, very good.

From the bottle, it's easy to create a three finger head. Slow to recede. It leaves chunky streaks and rings on the glass. The color is easyJet amber. Cloudy.
Nice blend of floral hop, earthiness and lightly toasted malt (crystal or biscuit).
This is a smooth IPA with a strong slightly toasted pale malt base. The hop never overwhelms, providing a good balancing counterpoint. Richer than most American IPAs but that may seem that way due to the lower carbonation. Bitter, but not a hop bomb by any measure, in the swallow leaving a moderately long aftertaste.

Bomber enjoyed 25 days after bottling into a chalice
L: Extraordinarily clear golden with a small off white head
A: Citrus - blast of citra hops, mango, grassy
T: Follows the nose, low bitterness, dank in the back
F: good carb, nice body
O: Went in with no expectations and was very pleasantly surprised - a solid IPA / hoppy APA - a real treat in AK
