Pours a hazy blonde with bright white head. Great retention as well. This is bursting with sticky tropical fruit. I got Dole Pineapple, mango, starfruit, and a little raw sugar cane. It's the sugar cane that comes through the most in this with a touch of piney resin. There's maybe a subtle citrus note that adds depth to the structure the way citrus can add levity to a heavy, oily dish. It's still the raw sugar cane that stands out to me as I have fond memories as a child of eating raw sugar cane. It is a flavor unlike any other and I remember trying to extract as much out of the root as possible. I believe that this is also why I have such a fondness for Mosaic hops. While this contains the top combo of Citra and Mosaic, it is the Mosaic that shines greatly here in its beautiful, elegant, finest.

Poured into a snifter. This is a strikingly beautiful beer, with an old-school medium haziness and a bright, translucent yellow-straw color. A thick white head formed on the pour and the foam hung around for several minutes. The aroma was evident as I cracked the can and poured it: lemony floral hops, slight grassiness, berries, and an earthy resin that was almost diesel fuel-like. The taste followed fairly closely. Lots of fruity notes, with lemon, berries, grass, and a nice dank undercurrent. The malt was there, but dry, bready, and restrained. Given it's old-school looks, I was expecting lots of bitterness, but this one was only moderately bitter with a softness reminiscent of an NEIPA. Overall an outstanding beer that spoke to me.

A: This poured a hazy straw with moderate white head.
S: It smelled like pineapple and mango and grapefruit, with dank herbal hops.
T: It tasted like pineapple and green mango and apricot, with some grapefruit and dank herbal hops and sweet honey malt. It had a clean bittersweet aftertaste.
M: It was oily with some smooth carbonation. Nice slick body.
D: This was another fantastic IPA from Ocelot, with amazing scent and taste and body. The finish was smooth, so it was easy to drink, but worth sipping and savoring. Among the best IPAs I've ever had, yet again from Ocelot.

Hazy gold appearance. Modest head
Tropical smells. Grassy. Like a field of Pineapples
taste of grapefruit , lemon zest. Some sour, biscuity malts. very light and greatly bitter on the lingering finish. Refreshing although strong tingly feel to the carbonation slows down the desire to gulp. It also gives it a bit of a ginger ale feel.
A summer IPA Ideal for a hot day (which July in VA it is). Unique and simple.

Pours mostly clear, medium-light gold, with a creamy white head that leaves nice smears of small lacing. The aroma is delicate but enjoyable, with pine and citrus and just a little sweetness. The taste is much the same. It is medium-bodied, with just enough heft, a little carbonation and a light crisp finish.
