look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 4
Poured from a bottle into a flute glass.
Look - very light golden color, clear, with good carbonation and off-white colored foam.
Smell - a very fruity essence to the smell, almost like apple juice or something like that. Beyond that maybe something of a malty type of smell.
Taste - interesting initial taste. It tastes a lot like a barleywine if it were on the "light" or pale side. There's a maltiness in the general quality, but then a bitterness wins over toward the finish. Finish itself is smooth though.
Mouthfeel - pretty well balanced, but maybe just a little more toward the watery side.
Overall - very interesting brew. I'd not tried anything quite like it before and enjoyed the experience.

Labeled as an "Extra" Lager which must mean "Strong". 500 ml brown bottle.
Production date: 3-15-2014. Best before: 3-15-2015.
A: Pours a clear pale yellow with a one-inch thick white head which fades to a thin cap and leaves splotches of lace.
N: Corny, grainy, malty, yeasty, with some boozy notes.
T: Grainy and corn-like, sweet, yeasty, slightly metallic, slightly "off" - something odd.
M: Semi-moderate body and medium carbonation. Finishes with a sweet, syrupy corn-like malty and yeasty.
O: There is some crispness, but the higher ABV reduces the lightness of the lager style.

Bottle at 35 degrees into standard pint glass
Aroma of grain
Head large (6 cm), white, frothy, slowly diminishing to 2 mm ring and irregular layer
Lacing OK – wide partial rings of various size bubbles
Body light yellow, clear
Flavor begins with grain, alcohol burn starts immediately after swallowing; no hops, no alcohol, no diacetyl
Palate medium, watery, lively carbonation
Aroma 3, appearance 3.5, flavor 3, palate 3.5, overall 3.25 Final score: 3.125
I don’t really care for this beer because of the weak taste paired with high alcohol content. It’s OK, but I probably won’t be buying more.

look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3 | feel: 3 | overall: 3
Appearance This one is maybe even lighter than the #3 with a head that was just as big and white.
Smell The grain here is not quite as big as its little brother Classic, but theres a presence of alcohol from this 8.0% ABV monster.
Taste Yes, the booze trumps the modest grain leaving this one tasting like mild ghetto juice.
Mouthfeel This lager is light to medium-bodied with some light carbonation and a sharp alcohol sting.
Drinkability This went down a litter rougher than the #3. I can enjoy and appreciate a stiff, boozy brew but this was a bit harsh for my preferences.

Looks like ___, smells like ____.
Tastes like sugar, chalk, flour, ginseng root.
I would rather drink Olde English, not sure about this being better than any 40oz.
I was like hmm 1.99, in with the bombers, maybe they know something cool on the cheap...
Can't even pretend to be cool with this one.
I just take the loss, full responsibility, I need a BMC to bring my taste buds back.

Presentation: 16.9 oz brown bottle with a foil wrap around the cap and neck, "best before" date on the back label. Thin film of sediment on the bottom of the bottle.
Appearance: Pale slightly hazy straw golden colour, decent little powdery white lace that clings here and there.
Smell: Very clean higher alcohols at play in the aroma with suggestions of distilled grain spirits. Mild flowery hop and some hay in the nose to show that there is some solid beer character there.
Taste: Crisp biting carbonation that runs towards coarse, the brazen spicy sweet alcohol attacks the palate with a distilled spirit like prickle. Malt sweetness is very pale with some cereal grain characteristics, grain and husk that flow like fresh cut hay. Hops dangle a medium bitterness that tags along for the ride with the strong armed alcohol. Alcohol is a touch fusel though mostly clean and is quick to warm the mouth, throat and body. Sweet finish that runs semi-clean.
Notes: Do they sell this one in 40’s down in their hood? Spot on for the American Malt Liquor Style though this is probably not what they were going for. Careful with this one meaning don’t make this one of your last beers of the night.

Appearance: 1/3 inch head, high carbonation, golden color, clear
Smell: toasted malt, straw, and alcohol
Taste: toasted malt, straw, and alcohol
Mouthfeel: very smooth, high carbonation, moderately sweet
Drinkability: It does taste like a high alcohol Euro light beer or Budweiser. The taste I find a bit too sweet and alcoholic. I think I am fine with the first pour into my pint glass but have no desire to finish the whole bottle.

The beer pours a clear straw yellow color with a white head. The aroma is grassy, bready malt and a lot of grain. The flavor is grass, grain, sweet malt and alcohol. The sweetness is the predominant flavor component. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not a great beer, but for the style, it is not bad.

Poured very clear golden , with a frothy white head that stuck around. Alot of nice bands of lacing were left on the glass. Very grainy malt in the nose , slight hop , and definate bit of alcohol. The taste is also a grainy ride with a noticable spirit like alcohol throughout. Some sweet cereal like malt , probably from the maltose syrup. The carbonation and alcohol bites the back of the tongue , as well as just a touch of hop bitterness to round out the mildly sweet malt profile.

Poured cold from the $1.99, 16.9 oz bottle.
It is a clear, very light yellow colour. It looks exactly like the ram's piss from the movie Beerfest... Slightly hoppy to the nose with a distinctive yeasty-funkiness. The taste is like a slap in the the face. The 8% ABV is QUITE apparent with a bit of grain-taste. There is a nice aftertaste of hops, but that doesn't help you get over the fact that you have a full glass to get through. You should expect to get what you pay for, but this is what I would think that the ram's piss from the movie Beerfest tasted like...
Would I buy it again? Never.

L: Brilliant gold under a persistent 3” white foam cap composed of very fine bubbles. Lacy.
S: Rich malt nose with faint hops in the background.
T: Very creamy and soft in the mouth, average carbonation, medium full body. Big malt flavors, faint caramel, borderline buttery to butterscotch with a big hop accent on the finish.
F: Medium full body and just above medium on the carbonation.
O: Despite the traces of diacetyl, surprisingly good.

Light straw color with a fizzy white head that disappears quickly, but leaves some chunky lacing randomly around the glass. Smell is grassy, with hints of pine and citrus. No alcohol smell for such a strong beer. Taste is bitter upfront, hot hoppy, just bitter. A pine and lemon flavor rolls to the back of the tongue, and then an alcohol bitter warmth settles in. A little skunk creeps in afterward. All right, it's not a kick ass beer, but it's better than most malt liquors and doesn't leave that furry phlegm ball in the back of your throat.

Purchased a relatively fresh can from a Russian Supermarket.
Immediately upon opening, a chemical smell wafted from the can. I have never smelled this in a beer.
The first taste magnified the chemical overtones. Absolutely no malt character. Can only taste the alcohol. Perhaps it's added alcohol that gives this such a bad smell and taste.
This is easily the worst beer I have had in decades/

A- Pours a golden yellow with a nice white foamy head and good lacing
S- A crisp smell of malt and hops
T/M- Taste is like a standard lager with a bit more bitterness to it mixed with some sweetness.
D- It is drinkable, not the best around pretty average a very typical lager with slightly more flavor.

Pretty much the worst beer I've ever had in my life. Not sure what they even call this garbage, but it's awful. Simply unpalatable. The malts have a weird, medicinal aftertaste and the alcohol comes through too much.

Pale gold and crystal clear, light puffy fine-bubbled head and crystalline lace. Distinct raisiny grape aroma, lots of fusels. Malt is honeyish but masked by an astringent pruney grape and cheap table wine-like character. Finishes lighter but still vinous with a speck of hop that's a bit clove-like. Low carbonation and medium mouthfeel, harsh alcohol without fun or redeeming flavors that make it worth it. Has a real Malt Liquor style and flush to it, and overall, its a little weird and on the sour side. Harsh and worsens as it warms, I can't say this is at all worth keeping stocked.
